Come explore the historical Grand Rivers and Ky lake at this peaceful getaway just steps from the famous Patti's 1880s restaurant! Sitting a short walk between Ky lake and Lake Barkley, enjoy a weekend filled with boating, shopping, and many other activities nearby. 500ft down the hill is the heart of Grand Rivers boasting many shops and unique dining opportunities including Village Market, Cabin Pizza, T. LAWSON’S Grill, Craig’s Dairy Dream, The Grist Mill, Dockers, Cracker Barrel (about 6 miles away), The WaffleHouse (also about 6 miles away).

Online description was fair and accurate. It was quiet, clean, and located just outside of town. Very walkable to town, although there are hills. Great communication with the host for any issues that came up.

The location of the property to visit Patti’s Settlement is perfect! The house was very clean. There were nice little touches such as snacks, coffee, travel shampoo and conditioners, board games, etc. We would definitely return!

Fabulous stay

Plenty of room for large family. Beds were super comfortable. The house had everything you could possibly need provided. Easy walk to Ms. Patti's and other local spots. We will be back!

Lovins mimi vaca!

Chris & Kim's VRBO was very neat, clean and organized. They left extra amenities such as coffee & snacks. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of extra items that we needed such as, paper towels, trash bags and zip lock bags. It is a short walking distance to Patti's Settlement, T. Lawsons & a 20 min. drive to Adventure River. It also had plenty of parking space for our family. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, the nice makeup mirror and extra phonechargers. Communication was great and we hope to stay there again.

Fun Family Getaway

A great place to enjoy a family get together. The home was so clean and inviting with everything you could think of provided for you. The memory foam beds seemed almost new for a firm nights sleep. We all enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the backyard. And Patti's Settlement is only two minutes from the door!! Highly recommend this lovely place!

Our group had tried to get to Patti’s for the lights at Christmas but just couldn’t make it happen. We found out they stayed on until January 13th. We made plans to go that weekend. We are 2.5 hour away and decided it may better if we just stayed somewhere. I was fortunate enough to find this property that is just a block or so away and was available. 3 of the couples ended up staying and it was great! It was nice to have a place where we could play games or just chill all together. Lots of room to spread out and relax. The home was spotless and had everything you might need. The snacks and bathroom extras were a nice surprise. The host was very quick to respond to my text when I had a question. It ended up being too cold to have a fire but we were very tempted. If you are planing a trip to Patti’s or even a Green Turtle Bay, this house is a great pick! We would definitely stay there again!

Just As Described!

From communication to cleanliness, this was a fantastic experience for our family! The check in process could not have been more simple. The location was easy to find. The rental was extremely clean and overwhelmingly inviting. The snacks left by the hosts were certainly not necessary but indicative of their attention to detail. The kitchen had the necessary pans, utensils, etc to make our stay feel even more like “home”. As an added bonus, we were able to view the beautiful Christmas lights from the town from the front porch. We will definitely be back!

Friends Trip

We stayed here to do a friends trip, and it was perfect. The place is well-stocked and conveniently located to everything. The beds are comfy and the place is clean and cozy. We loved Patty’s and the town is beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed sitting by the fire-pit overlooking the Christmas lights and town. It was a weekend full of great food and relaxation.
