  • Spacious 5 bedroom family home sleeps 12 and includes large open floor plan with gas fireplace, full kitchen, large dining space, comfortable huge living room with windows galore overlooking lake superior, and a game room. 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds and a queen size sleeper/sofa. Includes private office with high speed wireless internet. Enjoy local restaurants and shopping as the home is 5 miles from beautiful downtown Grand Marais, MN. Close to hiking or cross country skiing at nearby Cascade State Park a well as many other scenic locations in beautiful Cook County, MN. Near both snowmobile and ATV trails and many lakes great for fishing. Or stay in and curl up by the fireplace with a good book, watching the birds and the boats go by, or watch the game on our 73" Sony Smart TV. Ample space to turn around in our convenient circular driveway. No matter your interests, you will enjoy our beautiful home and its amazing surroundings.

Great house for a large family gathering, and the setting right on Lake Superior is perfect. We loved the kitchen, great room. The game room was a huge hit and we had many competitive pool matches.

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July long weekend for a family reunion. Great private location on the lake and close to many state parks for recreation and Grand Marais for shopping and restaurants. Lovely views of Lake Superior from the living room, kitchen and most of the bedrooms. The pool table in the game room was a great plus. Also enjoyed a really nice campfire by the lake.Everyone was very happy with our stay and the out of staters had a great intro to the Minnesota North Shore.

We had a wonderful stay! We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, clean linens, plenty of towels, and never ran out of hot water even with our large group! Absolutely loved the views - it was just breathtaking. The morning light and bird songs made for wonderful way to start the day. The fire pit and firewood available onsite was a huge bonus too. Clear and quick communication with the host, it was so helpful to have questions answered so quickly and well. Thanks again!

This home is beautiful with plenty of room for our big family ages 1 year (we had a birthday celebration for her there) to 73 years. The view of the Lake is phenomenal. It's easy to get to. There is a nice big kitchen with great dining table for everyone. Basically, everything you need for a wonderful family/group get together. We loved it!

Perfect north shore stay!

Absolutely beautiful property to stay at! Perfect location, very close to Grand Marais, Gunflint, trails. Great amount of space for a large group. Would stay here again!

Lovely weekend getaway with close friends

This is my second time staying at this property and it’s even better than I remembered. It’s one of the most beautiful cabins I’ve ever stayed in and is right on Lake Superior. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun trip to the North Shore!

The house was warm and welcoming. We used the backyard/firepit area every night - it was an amazing place to watch the moon rise over the water.

Our 2nd time renting this house! Party of 12 which accomodated our group perfect with plenty of room to sleep along with cooking meals for 2 nights. Best views of the lake including beautiful view of the sunrise. Carrie is a great host and very responsive.

Amazing cabin

Went fishing and BBQ w/ the families & friends! And lots of rooms and spaces you won't regret it! Again what an amazing experience for a first timer hosting a beautiful cabin by Lake Superior!

Peaceful Cabin

Loved our stay and the arch. We had a great family vacation. Close to Grand Marais. Near awesome waterfall hikes like Cascade Falls and Temperance. Very clean home with gorgeous views of Lake Superior.

Beautiful views and room for everyone!

This was a great rental with room to spare for everyone, closets galore! Gorgeous views and easy to contact helpful hosts. Convenient for us to run to Lutsen Mountains for daily skiing! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location feet from the lake!

The only way to get a better view of the lake is to be in it! This house was stunning and comfortable. The location is fantastic, situated between Grand Marais and Lutsen. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to come back!

Comfortable stay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home situated on the shore of Lake Superior. Lots of windows that overlook the lake, comfortable chairs to sit around the fireplace, and spacious bedrooms. We're excited to return next year.
