  • Sunset from Grand Isle State Park, near the southern tip of Louisiana. We didn't know you could drive 1.5 hours south of New Orleans, but you can to reach this beautiful state park. Grand Isle is mostly a summer community but it was sunny and warm and nearly empty for us in early March. The RV park was a great place to stay -- one of our favorites, right next to the beach and with nature paths nearby. We walked on the beach by day, and grilled burgers and sat by the campfire at night. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of space to spread out and relax, bedrooms were comfortable and having 2 en suite bathrooms was nice. Loved the view of the Gulf from the top deck and we were steps away from drive over to the beach. Bring or rent a golf cart or side by side to enjoy riding along the beach. Would recommend this rental

Easter Getaway

This property is beautiful and everything you need for a beach getaway! Gathering areas were perfect for family togetherness while spacious enough to avoid feeling crowded. Kitchen was well-stocked for our family that loves to cook. The porch was, by far, the best space for endless rocking and taking in all the sounds and beauty of the beach!Loved all the personal touches shared by the owners. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your amazing space! We enjoyed every minute of our relaxing stay.

Great Family time!

Our family went to Grand Isle for a mini family time and fishing trip. Our family fell in love with this home the moment we walked in. You could feel the love of the family. The memories they have in pictures on the wall, the little measurements of their family on the door frame. We all felt blessed they were allowing us to stay and make memories for our own family. We even got to meet the sweet owner. We cannot wait to go back next year and make even more memories. The home is so clean and well kept. The sunroom, and decks are such great gathering places. A trip our family will treasure.

Best Place to stay in Grand Isle, Louisiana

This is one of the Top places that we have stayed. No swimming pool or hot tub but the views from the deck ( especially the top deck ) at night truly made up for what the house didn't have. To sit in the chairs or in the swing chair watching the moon rise shining on the water with a nice cool breeze plowing made it really special. The inside was every well equipped and kept. The property manager was extremely nice and accommodating (locating the BBQ grill). The elevator from the ground floor to the living area made loading everything very easy. There is a store less than a mile down from the house if you need anything. We will DEFINITELY stay at this house again later this year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this wonderful house.
