After a day on the mountain, you can enjoy a relaxing night in this spacious condo in front of the gas fireplace. Make a wonderful meal in the fully-equipped kitchen and then cuddle up on the couch for a movie. There is a king-size bed in the main bedroom, a king in the second bedroom, a queen in the third bedroom, and a twin in the living room. The living space includes a 55-inch flatscreen TV with a Blu-ray player and STARZ, Showtime, and HBO streaming in the living room, plus a 40-inch flatscreen TV and Blu-ray player in each bedroom. You'll also have a private washer/dryer, a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, Free WiFi, and valley and pool views. The complex enjoys ski-in/ski-out access, a complimentary ski locker, wireless internet in the common area, and an outdoor heated pool and hot tub (open seasonally throughout the year).

WHAT’S NEARBYBase Camp One is centrally located in Grand County and is an ideal launching point for all the recreational activities in our area, with backdoor access to Ski and Bike Granby Ranch with close access to Golf Granby Ranch. Winter Park Ski Area, Rocky Mountain National Park, Hot Sulphur Springs, Lake Granby, and Arapaho National Forest are all within a 30-minute drive. Please note that covered parking is in a shared garage and is available for one vehicle.

THINGS TO KNOW
* As of May 1st, all renters must purchase a $10-day pass via credit card at Ranch Hall to use the facilities. All children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full-benefit member's home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with the address of the home will work as proof.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The place was in the perfect location for skiing.Furniture needs improvement, carpets needs replacing.Kitchen could also use new pans etc. Oven was dirty.We did not cook with exception of breaksfast.

A true ski-in ski-out property in Granby

What a beautiful property at base camp in Granby! Plenty of space for our family of four with three grandparents. The pictures don’t capture how open the floor plan is with the huge, well-appointed kitchen, opening to the living room with the fireplace in the middle. There wasn’t a grill on the deck but I think there is a shared grill outside the main shared lobby area you could use. Beautiful views all around, off the deck is mountain views and the clubhouse with pool/hot tub. We didn’t get around to going down there-it was a 15 per person cost to use that facility, but we spoke with other families who said the water was great and it always looked like a load of fun. Coming into Granby I went to look up the robust code to unlock the door, and our phones all dropped service so we had to turn around drive back up a bit to regain service-Not a bad plan to screenshot this information before you arrive in case this happens to you too. I didn’t see the Wi-Fi password anywhere in the place or within my booking, but I sent a text to ask the host and they got back with me immediately with that information. The only other hiccup with the place was no hot water in the evenings for showers-I didn’t report this because we just showered in the mornings, and I ran into the maintenance person on our way out who was called to look into the hot water issue on the floor so hopefully it will be resolved soon. So easy to access the slopes, locker downstairs is clutch! Hope to stay here again!

The Perfect Vacation Home

We absolutely loved our stay and could not have been more satisfied with the home. The unit we stayed in was very spacious and offered us a perfect home base for all of our adventures. The location could not be more convenient and ideal for accessing the pool/hot tub and ski facilities. Check in and out was also painless. Initially we had a very minor issue with a slow draining shower but the Vacasa team was incredibly responsive and immediately and fully remedied the situation upon being notified of the same. Overall, we loved our stay and will absolutely look to book this home again if available.

60th Birthday Get Away

We loved the view from the balcony. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again! There was an old, faded Christmas tree that needs to go. There was a broken lamp duct taped together when we arrived. Remotes for TV’s not all working, possibly a battery issue!

Base Camp Suite C 416 Review

The place was not cleaned prior to our arrival and the toilet in the main bathroom did not work during our stay. Sheets and towels were both dirty and we found food on the floor next to the bed in the master bedroom. We have asked Vacasa for a refund and can share pictures and videos if you need proof of the condition.

Property management issues

The unit itself is large and in a great location. However, vacasa was extremely unhelpful. The building was undergoing extensive repairs that affected our unit, but vacasa did not notify us. We had no hot water (like water would not even run) from 8-5 at least 6 of the days. We were not allowed to use the garage for parking for 3 full days. None of which vacasa communicated to us despite the building management telling us that the unit owners were notified. We had to make other arrangements for three nights due to lack of water. Vacasa didn’t even respond to my messages except to ask if was the entire unit out of water. No offer of refund or to cover the cost of the other rental we had to get. Housekeepers came into the unit without even knocking in the middle of our stay. Very odd. No housekeeping is fine until checkout so it was very odd for them to just come into the unit. The unit itself though is fine. Big windows (only 1 was broken). Big kitchen (two microwaves because one is broken). Great location for skiing at Granby Ranch. Living room furniture is played out, but comfy enough. Just needs some over all TLC and a different property manager.

Spring Break Family Trip

This penthouse was fantastic for our family of 6—Roomie and cozy. The ski-in ski-out location was superb for taking a break and having lunch. The equipped kitchen had everything we needed, from utensils to cookware. The lockers were handy, so we didn’t have to lug the ski equipment around, and it kept it all together.

Great Location

We stay at Base Camp frequently. However, it was our first stay in this condo. It could use a deep clean, someone to shovel the balcony area prior to arrival and additional necessities in the kitchen. Perfect location though.

Great Views

The space is nice when you are talking room for a family and or grandparents. But when I had to basically clean the counters, vacuum and really wish the windows would have been clean, they were so dirty, but things were dusty, just felt like it had been months since anyone was in the space and it was never vacuumed, dusted or cleaned. The parking of only one car in the garage and having to leave other family car a mile 1/2 away seems ridiculous. But the views are stunning that made the stay!

Great space, but not very clean. Bring your own blankets.

This condo is spacious, and cozy, with beautiful views, and you simply can't beat the location! We love Ski Granby Ranch! The rental price was very reasonable. The hot tub and pool facilities are heavenly - very clean. The firepit area is great. It was low on wood when we arrived, but one phone call to Allegiant got us a whole cord delivered in a matter of minutes. Here’s what I wish I would have known before booking: some chores need to be done on arrival, we should have brought more blankets. I agree with previous comments that the unit is not very clean. I don't think the carpets had been vacuumed prior to our arrival . There was visible debris on the floor - my daughter found marshmallows, cereal, and gummies on the floor in the living room and her bedroom. There were popcorn kernels and paper scraps on the floor of the master bedroom. The carpets certainly looked much fresher after I gave them a once over with the very adequate vacuum supplied in the unit. I was a little surprised to find towels in the dryer that needed to folded and put away. The clean dishes in the dishwasher were less of a surprise, but in all, I felt like I had to do a lot of chores before starting my vacation. I was glad we had brought along some packable down blankets for the kids. The comforters and polyester fleece blankets provided have seen better days. The well worn extra blanket for the master bed was on the floor of the closet. Since the condo cleanliness was already in question, my husband and I opted for just a sheet on our bed - not as comfy as we could have been. One last (minor) note: there was a white 6 foot artificial christmas tree in the unit (at the end of February). It has been there long enough for one side to have turned brown from the sun - sort of gross. We love Base Camp One, and we will definitely be back, but I don’t think we will choose this Penthouse in the future.

Winter get away with kids and in-laws

The place had a great set up accommodating my in-laws, husband and our children. It was NOT overly clean so they could improve that but it was nice otherwise. The locker room at the back entrance from skiing was great. My in-laws did not ski so they could hang out down below and still catch the action and help with the littles when they weren't skiing. The building controls the heats so we are overly warm and had to open windows. Its not privately own like a house would be but yet it's better then a hotel. The hot tub and pool were great, even though it was a walk away. We plan to come again!

My family and I had a lovely time in Granby. The condo was large, clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the view of the mountains from the balcony. We highly recommend this condo.
