"This place has so much potential. It's a beautiful old building that is kept clean, but could use some refreshing touches. Lots of nice woodwork and furniture. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom small, but clean and cute. Quiet atmosphere even for a main street hotel. No sign of a bar or restaurant. Breakfast? We quickly decided because of the low cost of the room we could skip the very meager offering and eat elsewhere 😍."

"This was our second time staying here...a year ago and this time. The hotel bar was fun with our group of friends we stayed with! The staff was friendly and accommodating! The drinks were good! The breakfast was VERY limited, so our group of 10 went to a restaurant for breakfast!"

"As a non- smoker, the entire facility reeked of cigarettes, even though only the Casino was "smoking ". The hallways smelled when you came in the side door from the parking lot. Our "non-smoking " room smelled and if you woke in the night, you were aware of the smell. Otherwise, the room was clean and modern. Except for the overused large upholstered chair that was dirty."

"We did not know that they didn't clean rooms if you were staying more that one night. And they didn't replace towels. Got back to motel around 9pm called for towels and was told I needed to bring the dirty towels to front desk and they would give me fesh towels. Maybe short staffed, but they should have let us know. Staff was friendly."

"We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!"

"We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. Check in was disappointing. We...

"Rooms need a good cleaning. Walls need a coat of paint and hardware needs to be fixed. Our bathrooms electrical plugs did not work so therefore no blow dryer. The rugs are so dirty that your socks are black from walking on them. The doors safety latch was broken off. This motel is in bad need of a good cleaning and updating."

"On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the property was well maintained—mostly. On the “needs improvement” side, the hot tub was broken and when we asked a housekeeper about it, she responded “long time”. The breakfast was nicely complete but needs to be replenished in a more timely manner and the tables need to be cleaned more often."

"The Property is close to downtown and all the shops. It's located near major roads, but you don't hear the traffic. Parking spots were plenty. Breakfast was simple, but really good."

"We reserved an Executive room through expedia and paid for that, but we were checked in to a small basic room. We were told it was expedias fault. AC makes a big loude noise , so was disturbing sleeping, a small shampoo tube, but was half empty, carpet felt sticky and dirty."
