The nearest beach access is right next to the ice cream shop, at the neighboring house. Diagonally across the street are a bakery, a hair salon, and a cozy restaurant. About 100 meters away is the Boddenmarkt, featuring small shops, the observation tower, and the tourist information office. You can also pick up your spa passes here.
The Netto supermarket is right next door. Other restaurants, the marina, as well as cafés, fish smokehouses, and small snack bars are all within a short walking distance.

On the first floor of the beach house itself, a small boutique and an Art Deco shop have also opened.
A surf school is just two beach crossings away, and the dog beach is about 400 meters away. Nude sunbathing is also permitted on Schaabe Beach.

Schaabe begins in Glowe and forms the island’s 12-kilometer-long, arguably most beautiful sandy beach. The Schaabe is a spit of land that separates the large Jasmund Bodden from the Baltic Sea.

The island of Rügen offers almost every kind of recreational activity you can imagine, all within a relatively short distance.
