Quiet Cottage in the heart of Burr Oak State Park.

This quiet cottage is located 3 miles from Burr Oak State Park Lodge and is within walking distance of Dock 1. Located on a small family own campground, Burr Oak Family Resort. There are plenty of opportunities for outside recreation, such as hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, and sightseeing. 30 minutes away you will find Ohio University, 20 minutes from Tecumseh off-road trails, and 40 minutes away from Hocking Hills. There is also a golf course within a half mile, and Bailey's bicycle trail is just 15 minutes south. We are located on Scenic Highway 78 in Southeastern Ohio. 5 minutes from town, this property has a lot to offer.

This cottage offers a full kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator. There is DirecTV available for use. Outside you will find a grill and fire ring.

Nice place for 2 people quite so cute , We were right across street from road that took use straight to dock to rent pontoon or kayak. Definitely worth the trip and fun .Thank you so much rental family.

The cabin was perfect for my needs. Small but it had everything I needed. Very comfortable and clean. Not too far off the beaten path.

Cozy little cottage

This cottage was small but comfortable. It was in a quite, isolated area. Not much surrounding and just a small run down town a few minutes away. It was a nice little get away place that I would visit again.

Couldn’t get in and inaccurate description

I was told I would receive a full refund by Vrbo. The address of the house I rented through Vrbo was not at the gps location, when I finally found the very small shed-like house it was locked up without a key code lock, it was right next to the owner’s house on the same property (not as it was listed online). I could not get in touch with the owner after texts, calls, and a knock on the owner’s door. I had received a key code in an email via Vrbo, but there was not a key code lock on the door. I spoke with Vrbo after my unsuccessful attempts to contact the manager. I was told by vrbo I would get a refund. Sometime after talking with Vrbo, I eventually did receive a message from the owner. The text informed me the key was under a mat. This is not what I was originally told via a Vrbo email and it was well past the time of check in so I had already found an alternative place to stay in for the next couple of nights. Vrbo emailed me that I would not get a refund after a further review. I hope Vrbo will stand by their word by issuing me a full refund. It was quite a fiasco to try to find an alternative place last minute.
