A four wheel or all wheel drive vehicle is required in winter months due to the unpaved driveway.

There is a highly trafficked street in front of this home that is visible through the trees and from the deck. Please take extra precaution with children as the driveway leads straight to this street and there is no fence surrounding the property.

Included in the price of your rental is an Administrative Fee for $59. This is required protection insurance provided by Waivo for up to $2500 in accidental damage. The full agreement and list of coverage details can be found in the Additional Rules section on the checkout page.

HOUSE RULES
These rules must be observed on the premises of the Property you have booked. The renter of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Guest” or “You” and the owner of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Homeowner”. You, as the Guest, accept and assume full responsibility for ensuring any person permitted at the Property abides by the rules expressed herein. Upon booking, reservation and payment, you agree to abide by the following rules:
A. You are responsible for all occupants of the home and must require that all rules herein, as well as the within the Short Term Rental Agreement, are followed.
B. No one under the age of twenty-five (25) shall qualify to rent this property. You shall not rent or stay at the Property unless there shall be at least one Guest over the age of twenty-five (25) concurrently renting or staying at the Property. All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times.
C. Smoking, vaping and all recreational drug use are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property. A fine will be assessed if these policies are not observed.
D. You must take Garbage/Trash to the curb on the scheduled day(s) of trash removal and not before, as indicated in the Guest Guide located within the Property.
E. Pets are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property unless otherwise stated in the listing. Manager is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms. Not abiding by these terms may result in eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.
F. You, or any other person on the Property during your stay, may not interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of the neighbors. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM daily. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
G. You are solely responsible for any other person at the Property. Additional persons, other than the number of guests reserved and booked in the original booking and reservation, may NOT stay overnight at the Property.
H. You will be responsible for any fine and/or violation that is imposed on the Homeowner due to the negligence of any person permitted on the Property by you.
I. You shall abide by all Federal, State and Local laws.
J. You shall notify the local police and Homeowner of any illegal activity that is witnessed in or around the Property.
K. You agree not to use the Property for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to, the sale, use or possession of illegal drugs on or around the Property.
L. Absolutely no hazardous materials are permitted to be in or around the Property at any time.
M. You may not use or store Kerosene or space heaters at any time in or around the Property.
N. The burning of candles is not permitted within the Property, with the exception of birthday candles.
O. Under no circumstances may a stove, oven or range be used as a source of heat. All appliances are to be used only for their intended purpose.
P. Charcoal and Gas Barbecue grills may not be used inside any structure located on the Property.
Q. You may not bring your own grill (of any type) or fire pit for use on the premises.
R. Tents or other structures may not be erected on the Property.
S. Commercial photography or filming is not permitted on the Property.
T. You shall use ventilating fans at all times when bathing or cooking.
U. All windows and doors must remain closed during inclement weather.
V. You shall notify Manager of any pest control problems.
W. The use of any provided swimming pool or hot tub is at your own risk. You further understand that any interruption of use will not alter or change any of the terms of this Agreement.
X. You may not block the fire escape at any time.
Y. The Homeowner does not permit large gatherings at the Property. A disturbance caused by you or any person permitted on the Property during your stay which results in any police action, complaints from neighbors is considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of this Agreement, immediate eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid as permitted by law.
Z. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. No towels or linens shall be taken from the house. A cleaning fee is automatically added and charged to you for each booking and reservation. You must keep the Property, inside and out, clean and sanitary at all times. Even though a cleaning fee is charged, you are expected to leave the Property in a clean, neat and orderly condition. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive cleaning or trash removal is required upon your departure.
AA. This house is privately owned. The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the Property. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of any Guest or any other person. By accepting this reservation, you expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from your use of the Property or others whom you invite to use the Property.
BB. Damage Protection Policy: A mandatory fee for third-party accidental rental damage insurance will be automatically charged to each booking.

Everything was very clean and the location was wonderful. The big clae foot tib was a great added amenity. The heating however, was a minor issue. It did not work most of the first night we were there. We checked in around 6pm, and it took until around 2am for the studio to warm up to tolerable temperature. The host called first thing in the morning to check on us after we messaged in the middle of the night. Their responsiveness was appreciated, but maybe in the future they could turn the temperature up before a guest checks in.

Shower was unsafe, not functional for an adult. Unsafe!!!! Kitchen had no dish clothe, no silverware. Bed was hard. Couch was awful to sit on. Studio was made for small people, not tall people!!!!

Bookers beware! This was a very stressful stay for us. When we arrived, the living room and bathroom windows, floor, and even parts of the ceiling and inside drawers had boxelder bugs on/in them. The bathroom shower curtain was also pink with mold and the tub was dirty. Because it was "too late to send housekeeping out" at 6 pm, we purchased our own cleaning supplies (as the ones provided obviously weren't getting the job done right), and spent 3 hours cleaning the apartment to the standard we should've received it in. In the attached pics you can see the vacuum filled with bugs each day, and the before and afters of the bathroom sponge. The bugs weren't mentioned anywhere on the listing page, and were only commented on in the welcome email sent out to us 3 days before our arrival, when we had already flown into the state. When I expressed my frustration to the homeowner I received only an apology and the promise of sending a housekeeper out the next day, as if anyone would've wanted to stay in this listing in the condition it was when we arrived. We were offered no type of compensation for the cleaning products, partial refund or any kind of sign to show they actually cared about how their property was not properly handed to us. This stay is in a good location, and although the couch is uncomfortable, the apartment itself was cozy, but I will never stay here again and will warn others who visit to refrain from doing so as well.

Price should be lower for the quality of the property. It's not bad and has potential but needs work. Very tight quarters around the bed. A regular shower instead of a tub shower would be a big improvement. There were a lot of the flying bugs inside that stink, quite a nuisance. The lot next to this property basically is an old auto storage yard. The outside deck needs cleaning and work. The stone stairs need to be improved for safety, there are trip hazards on the walkway.

Small but cozy

OK for two as long as you don't have tons of luggage - there's not much storage space. But the bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Being winter, we didn't use the deck at all, I'm sure it is quite nice in season. Very quiet.
