Uniquely crafted wood beams and a modern open staircase create an impressive entrance while expansive windows in the open living room reveal the gorgeous surrounding scenery. Central to the open space is a plush oversized sofa set . The pristine gourmet kitchen is abundantly equipped to facilitate any large meal or small intimate dinner.

In the warmer months, dine outside on the spacious upper deck and enjoy the soothing sounds of the creek. This beautiful outdoor living area offers tremendous expansive views of mountains, trees, flowers, and wildlife all year long. The primary bedroom suite, located on the upper floor, is furnished with a comfortable king bed, personal fireplace, and features a private deck with outstanding views. From the primary en suite, indulge in a luxurious steam shower or melt the stress away in the oversized tub with scenic views. A sitting area on the upper level offers a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping arrangements.

On the lower level, there are four additional bedrooms and a common area with sleeper sofa for more accommodations. The second bedroom has a king bed, en suite bathroom with tub and shower, and direct access to the hot tub and fire pit patio area. A third bedroom with queen bed and fourth bedroom with a full bunk bed and single trundle bed share a spacious jack-and-jill style bathroom. The fifth bedroom offers more privacy with a king bed, en suite bathroom, and direct backyard access. With 5 comfortably furnished bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, all guests will find privacy for their rest and relaxation.

A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS REQUIRED IN WINTER MONTHS DUE TO STEEP AND UNPAVED ROADS AND POTENTIAL SNOWFALL.

Please be advised that cell service is spotty in this area. AT&T tends to be more reliable than Verizon. Once at the home, you can use the WiFi service for calls.

The yard is not fully fenced, and there is a creek that runs through the property, so please exercise caution and ensure that children are supervised at all times.

The garage is available during the summer months ONLY due to the potential for freezing pipes in the winter.

Included in the price of your rental is an Administrative Fee for $59. This is required protection insurance provided by Waivo for up to $2500 in accidental damage. The full agreement and list of coverage details can be found in the Additional Rules section on the checkout page.

HOUSE RULES
These rules must be observed on the premises of the Property you have booked. The renter of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Guest” or “You” and the owner of the Property shall be referred to herein as the “Homeowner”. You, as the Guest, accept and assume full responsibility for ensuring any person permitted at the Property abides by the rules expressed herein. Upon booking, reservation and payment, you agree to abide by the following rules:
A. You are responsible for all occupants of the home and must require that all rules herein, as well as the within the Short Term Rental Agreement, are followed.
B. No one under the age of twenty-five (25) shall qualify to rent this property. You shall not rent or stay at the Property unless there shall be at least one Guest over the age of twenty-five (25) concurrently renting or staying at the Property. All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times.
C. Smoking, vaping and all recreational drug use are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property. A fine will be assessed if these policies are not observed.
D. You must take Garbage/Trash to the curb on the scheduled day(s) of trash removal and not before, as indicated in the Guest Guide located within the Property.
E. Pets are NOT permitted in the house or on the Property unless otherwise stated in the listing. Manager is not authorized to make exceptions to these terms. Not abiding by these terms may result in eviction and forfeiture of amounts paid.
F. You, or any other person on the Property during your stay, may not interfere with the peaceful enjoyment of the neighbors. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM daily. Quiet hours consist of no music and keeping all audio at a minimum level out of respect for the surrounding residents.
G. You are solely responsible for any other person at the Property. Additional persons, other than the number of guests reserved and booked in the original booking and reservation, may NOT stay overnight at the Property.
H. You will be responsible for any fine and/or violation that is imposed on the Homeowner due to the negligence of any person permitted on the Property by you.
I. You shall abide by all Federal, State and Local laws.
J. You shall notify the local police and Homeowner of any illegal activity that is witnessed in or around the Property.
K. You agree not to use the Property for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to, the sale, use or possession of illegal drugs on or around the Property.
L. Absolutely no hazardous materials are permitted to be in or around the Property at any time.
M. You may not use or store Kerosene or space heaters at any time in or around the Property.
N. The burning of candles is not permitted within the Property, with the exception of birthday candles.
O. Under no circumstances may a stove, oven or range be used as a source of heat. All appliances are to be used only for their intended purpose.
P. Charcoal and Gas Barbecue grills may not be used inside any structure located on the Property.
Q. You may not bring your own grill (of any type) or fire pit for use on the premises.
R. Tents or other structures may not be erected on the Property.
S. Commercial photography or filming is not permitted on the Property.
T. You shall use ventilating fans at all times when bathing or cooking.
U. All windows and doors must remain closed during inclement weather.
V. You shall notify Manager of any pest control problems.
W. The use of any provided swimming pool or hot tub is at your own risk.

This is an amazing house and suited our group well. The hot tub was great and I appreciate it being hot upon arrival. There are a couple of camper trailers as you enter the driveway/on the property and I’m assuming those may be for the caretakers. That didn’t really bother us, still 5 stars, but definitely not completely secluded and the ultimate privacy we were hoping for with such a great house out of town. To that end, be aware of extremely limited Uber/Lyft availability if you plan on hitching a ride into town.

Top Notch

This home is surrounded by trees and next to a beautiful stream. The kitchen has gourmet touches that we enjoyed. One thing I need to point out is that there is no AC with the exception of the upstairs master which has a mini split. Even though it was 90 during the day the night air did cool the house off as promised most nights. We did love staying here we just wish it had been a few degrees cooler.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful time at this property. It's a beautiful, large home with nice window views and plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the island. Wild turkeys were around the property each day and that was a fun surprise. Hot tub was hot. Location was perfect, quick drive to Sunlight Ski Resort and to town. Our only complaints were that the fireplace was broken and we were excited to use it after skiing, and there was a build up of about 10 trash bags in the garage that had a horrible odor when we arrived. Not sure how that was overlooked before our arrival but we cleaned it up ourselves. Great property but lack of detail from management on some things.

Family Christmas 2024

This was our fifth Christmas get together in Glenwood. Our family has stayed in three other houses over the years and this, by far, was our favorite! There was the perfect number of rooms to accommodate all 7 adults and three kids. The open kitchen/living room/dining room allowed us all to be together which was great! The location made us feel like we were in a mountain retreat, but was 10 minutes from town which was so convenient. The owner was absolutely amazing and quick to respond to the few questions we did have. We will definitely be back to this absolutely stunning property!

Beautiful home, poorly maintained.

Gorgeous property that clearly has not been maintained. We checked in for a 3 night stay for 10 people with only half a roll of paper towels, 7 rolls of toilet paper and no extra trash bags. Batteries did not work for the fireplace remotes and we found out 1 day before our stay that the living room fireplace was inoperable. Multiple lightbulbs burnt out and front door did not latch without a deadbolt. Hot tub would only heat to 96 degrees On the second day of our visit the homeowner was dispatched to service the hot tub. He was aware the hot tub wasn't working properly and told us we needed to turn on the jets every 45 minutes for 3+ hours to ensure the hot tub would heat to its 104 temp. Absolutely absurd. Exterior steps from the walkout level to the entry level are crumbling and falling apart. Surely these are not to code and/insurance or VRBO approved if anyone was paying attention. Blinds at the lower level primary bedroom were laying on the floor when we arrived. They did not fit the window and could not be open/closed and therefore there was no shade or privacy for this main bedroom. Guests should also be informed the owner is living in an RV camper on the property... that was an odd surprise. Home quality is not equivalent to the nightly price. The property management company should be held accountable to do a full inspection of this home before they collect any money.

Amazing property

Had a bit of a rough start as there was a tripped breaker that was behind a locked door so we didn't have power in the main living room. Communication with the property management company was quick but they were unsure how to fix the issue. Took a full day to finally resolve but in the end it was turned back on and out second day was great. the property management group compensated us for the hassle and not having power so overall we were happy, just wish it could have been resolved quicker so we could have enjoyed the space instead of dealing with the issue. The property itself is awesome! Great location, plenty of room, amazing kitchen and living spaces. Some minor fixes that need to be made particularly many of the screens are busted out and someone tried to fix them with painters tape (didn't work at all). Would definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay again!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Overall, this could be a good stay. I'll save our problems for the end. First it's a beautiful house on a very nice property. The house has lots of space for privacy...even with 11 adults. It's on "15 acres" but it's not usable except the yard. It's tucked in off the road, but there would be road noise if not for the fountain which drowns the noise. It's hot in August (we had 101F) and the place doesn't have A/C except for the upstairs master BR which has a small unit. It was advertised that the place had fans, but I only found one (except for ceiling fans). We bought a box fan to blow the cool night air in during the night. I think most of the time, this wouldn't be an issue, but I think the place should provide more portable fans. Our master A/C went out and the owner addressed it immediately. The well went out and we had no water-11 people w/o showers, toilets, or washing dishes. The owner was on this right away as well and had someone coming to fix it on a Saturday. He brought 10-12 gallons of water for the toilets. He gave me his personal number and told me to contact him directly. We went paddle boarding and didn't ever hear from him. I texted and called with no response. We arrived early evening-no water, and then I heard from the management company, not him that it wasn't fixed. We hauled water from the pond to flush our toilets. He never talked to me, but sent a curt text when I expressed my frustration. Yes, we got a partial refund

This home was amazing, beautiful views, magazine worthy kitchen area, spacious and perfect for our family of 10!!! We enjoyed every amenity..except for the fireplace ;-( It was inoperable. We notified Host that the gas key and remote (referred to in the guestbook) were nowhere to be found....They responded, but didn't seem to have a solution! Was a little disappointing to ski all day and not have a warm fire to come home to....But that didn't overshadow the fact that the house was incredible & we'd definitely rent again...

The house and setting were beautiful. The house was very clean, lots of light. There were so many amenities and it worked for a larger group.

Perfect Family Home

We have a large family- and friends 11 people total ages 10-79! This home was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The property is serene and beautiful. We loved this house. Had everything we needed, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of everything! Wifi works well, great TV spaces for kids! We were a bit nervous about not having central AC but the house stayed cool using ceiling fans and following the instructions of when to close and open windows. I can’t say enough about the beauty of this property!

Great House and Great Stay

The view and house were beautiful!! It was a little weird that the owner was around the house a lot during our stay. He was awesome, just weird that every day he was there at the house.
