We loved visiting MONA in Tasmania - but we were just as impressed by the view outside the building! Spent a short while getting photographs from here. #localgems
MONA is the best thing to happen to Tasmania in years and years. Gambler David Walsh built the below- ground museum to display his eclectic art collection and the result is phenomenal. You can catch a ferry from Hobart ($20) out here or hire a bike and ride along the bike track (flat and safe). Entry to MONA is free for Tasmanians but they must show ID. It's $20 for anyone else, which is worth it for the hours and hours you will spend here. Don't miss the Madonna room. Ask if you can't find it for yourself.
