Only 1 1/2 hours from NYC!

This chalet offers the best indoor and outdoor amenities and comforts.

Not only is our chalet complete with every item you could need you also have the pleasure of enjoying our private lakefront. PLEASE NOTE: It's a 3 minute walk from our back door down a private tree lined road to our waterfront where you can take in some incredible views, swim or use the kayaks that are provided.

There are 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a game room, electric fireplace a kids room, outdoor pizza oven, a garden to pick fresh fruits and vegetables! Bedroom six has private access in an attached apartment. It’s perfect for additional guests, in-laws, etc. This apartment also includes a designated office space perfect for working remotely. The apartment suite has it’s own bathroom and kitchen.

Please note a few things: there is a pond on the property. It has a working pump and has fish in it. Please supervise your children
when they are in the backyard. We provide kayaks ( life jackets must be worn at all times while in use) for your stay but in order to protect our lake we don’t allow outside boats from renters. Our area is a bit rural, but a great escape but know that restaurants, Ubers, delivery services can be a bit of a drive or a bit sparse.

Cars are only allowed inside of our fenced acre. No cars should be driven past the entrance gate down the private drive. We are on a private drive with two other homes. Please be respectful of our neighbors. All guests vehicles must be parked inside the gate and not on the private drive that way our neighbors can utilize the private drive. Gate should be kept closed when not in use.

Our home is suitable for friends, family, small children and all dogs. Please note that there is a pet fee of $100 for the stay (up to 3 pets). Your dogs can have the run of the place enjoying the entire fenced in acre.

PLEASE NOTE: Please write the correct amount of guests when booking. We do not charge for guest up until our Maximum but we need to know how many to accommodate your group correctly.

We are so in love with everything this lake has to offer. It has truly become our home away from home. So secluded, safe and far, far away from all of the hustle and bustle of urban living.

Enjoyed our stay in this home. Loved sitting by the lake and around the firepit at night. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very well stocked. The owner responds quickly to any needs or questions. Only slight complaint is the beds are a little uncomfortable and the pool table has a crack in the slate.

Summer Getaway

Very big and comfortable home. Everything you could need is provided. Deck area is awesome and the hot tub was super clean. The area by the lake is private and very nice. The floating mat was a huge plus and we had a blast! Alyson is very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. We had a wonderful stay!

Pictures are deceptive and dated. Overall, although older and poorly configured, the home shows promise. The home is poorly maintained and insecure with a window out in the front, only covered with ill fitting plexiglass and clear packing tape, allowing for insect and spider intrusion. Window A/C units in second floor bedrooms only, no living space coverage or in the damp basement apartment, rendering that area unusable. No locks on the 2 basement restrooms, which are 2 of the 3 restrooms in the home, impeding privacy and making for awkward situations with a larger group. Cleanliness was weak at best, with some areas obviously not cleaned in some time, towels were stale, not fresh. Pool table in the ultimate game room unusable due to significant felt damage. Generally, the home needs attention. Not the positive experience our 3 families sharing the space had hoped for.

Calm weekend in nature

The home was spacious and comfortably fit us 8 adults. There was plenty of table space for big communal dinners and several board games, lots of places to sit and hang out, and several comfortable bedrooms. We especially loved the outdoor pizza oven which, with a little planning, helped our 'resident pizza chef' make nearly 10 pizzas in a little over an hour.The owner was attentive and answered all of our questions in a short time (and even helped us very quickly get some things we accidentally left behind at the end of our trip.)

Spacious with great amenities

Quirky, spacious house with plenty of bedrooms and several kitchens/sinks with the in law apartment. Big table for eating and games by a wood stove. Game room is great for kids (and nerf gun battles). We were there in several snow and ice storms but managed to squeeze in some hot tub time. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Amazing family reunion!

We met our adult children and their families at this beautiful chalet and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of room for all of us to fit and spread out, but also gather and enjoy each other's company around the table, the fire pit and even the pizza oven as we tried (and succeeded!) at making wood fire pizzas. I highly recommend this place for large groups and we will definitely return!

Family vacayion

Great property and location. There were 12 of us altogether and we had more than enough room. Outdoor space with the deck, hot tub and fire pit areas were great for hanging around at night. Alyson was very quick with her responses. We would definitely stay there again.

Fun family time

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We spent our days kayaking and swimming. The large dining area was perfect for family dinners. The kids had a great time playing with the games in the game room. The house had everything that we needed and our host was so lovely to work with!

Best hosts made this the best stay!

Four generations of family members spent the 4th of July week. Alyson and Rob were fantastic hosts, extremely responsive to any questions or needs we might have had. There was plenty of room for us all to say comfortably, eat dinner as a large group, watch movies, or play games. But most of the time we spent at the lake, enjoying their 3 kayaks and the swimming area. Having a completely fenced in property also allowed our dogs to enjoy the vacation without us worrying about where they were. The adults loved the hot tub and we even made wood fired pizza from scratch in the pizza oven! We over packed for our vacation, not realizing that the house would be so well stocked with everything we would need. Check in and check out was also a breeze. We can’t thank Allison and Rob enough for such a wonderful Family vacation!

Family vacation

Wonderful location for long weekend with family! Loved all of the outdoor spaces this property offers. Kayaks, hot tub, sitting areas, campfire and fenced in yard were all utilized. Appreciated all of the extra amenities (stocked kitchen, shampoo, dog toys, etc) that added to this trip.

Amazing Family Weekend

A group of us from my family try to get away together once a year, and this home had everything we could want...plenty of room for everyone inside, plus huge outdoor space with plenty of activities! Quick walk to lake is great way to spend the afternoons, then sitting around fire pit at night is an awesome way to end your day!...Alyson is extremely quick to respond to any questions you may have! I HIGHLY recommend this property & would definitely book again!! P.S., if you have a dog, they'll enjoy it the most, entire property is fenced in & gives them plenty of space to roam free! 🐶

Our family of 8 adults and 4 kids had a wonderful stay and plenty of room at this lovely property!

The owner of this property is amazing to deal with and the property is great! So much room! The kids enjoyed the game room, ping pong table and we all enjoyed game nights around the large kitchen table. The outdoor area is beautiful and we loved making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. Over all a great family get away!

Top Notch Vacation Experience

My family and I stayed a few nights at this fun, spacious, and unique property. The entire process and stay was so excellent. Would recommend to anyone (and do hope to plan another trip in the future). The property owner, Alyson, was super communicative, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout. From preparation ideas prior to our arrival, to potential adjustments to our arrival/pet guests, to a nice welcome package when we walked in, to all "at home amenities," to fun activities right on the property to last for hours, to check out consideration (due to inclement weather) - our family was super comfortable and we made many lasting memories together. Very thankful for the thoughtfulness and care - not to mention the opportunity to stay at this beautiful property itself. We highly recommend!

We went to celebrate a 40th birthday as a group of 10. We had a blast. The house was in great condition and very clean. Loves all the amenities . Owners were fantastic and extremely responsive . Would definitely look at renting this property again on trh future. Thanks !

Christmas Get-Away

This is an awesome property especially if you have a large family or a lot of friends who will be staying. Very secure parking area overlooking a small pond, fire pit and the outdoor oven/tiki bar, great set-up. Head up the steps and you will find a very nice deck with a hot tub, seating area and the gas grill. Great spot to have cocktails overlooking the property. Heading inside you are greeted by an expansive dining room, kitchen, TV room that is great for entertaining and for eveyone to hang out. We especially liked the fireplace in the dining room which has a table that easily sits 10. The kitchen is very well equipped and the host is quick to respond if you need anything. We appreciated the griddle that she bought which came in handy for our pancakes and french toast. The bedrooms are very large and the beds comfortable. Downstairs you can spend hours playing pool, skeet ball, darts and pac man. There is a nice fireplace here also but we did not get a chance to use it. The separate apartment with its own kitchen came in handy as we used the refrigerator for some of our items. I would highly recommend this location for a large family or a group of friends that are looking for a place that is clean, comfortable and offers so many ammenities.

Family Weekend

We had an amazing time a this lake house, plenty of room for our little family reunion. We enjoyed the lake, the kayaks and rowboat, hot tub, outdoor wood pizza oven (was a huge hit), bonfire pits, gameroom, and even the mini pond where the kids enjoyed catching frogs and tadpoles. The fenced in yard was amazing for bring our two doggies. I was impressed with the communication with the owners, they were very nice. The back deck was very comfy and it was great to begin and end each day under the covered deck. We enjoyed some nature & waterfall hikes in the area and visited a nice winery. I hope to return next year around the same time. A++

Family Getaway

We had a great time at this property! Alyson was a receptive host, who responded quickly to any & all of my inquiries. My family took advantage of everything the property had to offer, the lake, the hot tub, the outdoor pizza oven, the fire pit for making s’mores and mostly the game room! We are talking about returning in the Spring for another family get away!! There were 12 of us and the house set up was perfect, plus it is pet friendly!!!
