Have some top class food at Ubiquitous Chip or sample street-food style ramen at Ramen Dayo then wash it all down with a Guiness at Jinty McGinty's or a craft beer at the Innis and Gun bar. There is even a cinema located within the lane so there is definitely something for everyone.

Be sure to visit the closeby Kelvingrove Park and Botanical Gardens if you are blessed with good weather. DO NOT RENT THIS SUITE. I don't believe I've ever been so disappointed in a rental property, ever. In fact, the evening we arrived we started looking for another hotel to check into. I would go so far as to describe it as disgusting; stains on carpets, area rug, chairs and sofa and (to feel comfortable sitting on the sofa we used the comforters from the spare bedroom). The curtain in the bedroom was hanging off its hooks. Gouges and shoddy patchwork and dirt on the walls throughout the entire apartment, water stains on the walls in multiple locations, cob webs that are weeks, if not months old, a towel with a disgusting stain on it. A massive wad of hair on the bathtub tap.The laundry room had to be tidied and organized before I washed the clothes as the highchair, mob, broom and pail were just tossed in the room and I couldn't access the washer until I organized it. I was only able to upload 8 photos but have 20 in total. The thing that is even worse than all of what I've already mentioned is the deceptiveness of the whole situation. The pictures posted absolutely DO NOT reflect the state of the apartment and to be deceived like this is reprehensible.

Massive wad of air around the bathtub tap and the drain plug was also broken.
Stains on the sofas and dining chairs.

Not what we expected

We were very disappointed when we first walked into the facility. There were loose wires hanging from the walls, water spots on the walls, dirty used sponges in the kitchen and dirt on the floors. Probably one of the dirtiest rental places we have ever stayed in. It was a shame because the apartment could be a show place.

Delightful apartment

We arrived at night and found it very difficult to access the keys in the lockbox. The apartment is spacious, luxurious and clean. Unfortunately, we were unable to download the host’s guidebook and missed out on some vital info. Beautiful spot with lots within walking distance.

Family in Hillhead

This is a spacious property with a modern kitchen & bathroom, but still retaining period features. It is in a premium neighbourhood with great retail, but with some hills to navigate. It is also close to two subway stations to get to the city centre quickly. The only improvements I could suggest would be to have an extra set of towels, some dish towels to dry hand-washed dishes, and a few Nexpresso pods to start, as these have to be purchased in the city centre.

Beautiful property with beautiful finishings but sadly wasn’t clean and no basics available ie bin bags, washing up liquid , hand soap, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets… Owner offered to bring these the following day but we needed them now so went to the local shop. Inconvenient for a short stay and not what we expected from this standard of accommodation

Absolutely beautiful flat, exactly as pictured. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the subway. Property manager is responsive and helpful and the directions for the property are very clear. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property.
