"Great place for our overnight stay en route St Andrews! The property is on third floor and whilst it looks a bit small ( will admit we were a bit unsure) as soon as you open the door into the penthouse, it is welcoming, warm and cosy! It is bigger than we thought and had all we needed for our stay. We walked about the town and there was plenty of places to eat and 2 spars and a coop for essentials. We had a nice drink at Howard Arms (dog friendly) and then a curry take out.Kelly was responsive...

"We loved our stay at the Milecastle Inn. Our little apartment was a perfect size for us, clean and well equipped. They even stocked it with snacks and breakfast items. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was cozy with good food. The most amazing part was that you can easily walk to Hadrian’s Wall from the Inn. It is also right next to the bus stop from Haltwhistle and the train station. Overall it made for a perfect vacation!"

"Interactions with the owners was easy and we gots lots of information, both before and when we there there. It's a gorgeous, tranquil spot, very central for exploring Hadrian's Wall. The pod was clean with everything you might need, and very comfortable beds. We loved the little outdoor area with fire pit too. "The property was clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of firewood to heat the hot tub and have a fire. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The only issue we had was on check-in, we never got the email that gave us access to the cabin. Luckily, the landowner was walking around at 9:30 p.m. and was able to let us into the cabin. I definitely wish we could have a few more days there. It was definitely worth the price"

"We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages).
