Picture this… you arrive at The Gunstock Getaway, nestled in a quiet corner of Gunstock Acres, where the air feels crisp and the pace instantly slows. Step inside and you’re welcomed by a spacious, comfortable home thoughtfully designed for groups to spread out while still staying connected.

Mornings feel effortless here. Gentle light filters through the windows, and glimpses of Lake Winnipesaukee shimmer through the trees in the distance. Coffee is poured, plans come together around the kitchen island, and the day naturally takes shape, whether that means skiing the nearby slopes at Gunstock, heading out for lake adventures, or simply enjoying a slow morning at home. Outside, a variety of yard games, pickleball, croquet, ladder ball, giant Connect Four, and bean bag toss, set the scene for easygoing afternoons and family fun.

Inside, there’s something for everyone. The living spaces invite connection, with board games on the table, music playing in the background, and laughter carrying from room to room. Kids gravitate toward the bunk room and game area, while adults gather between conversations or step out onto the deck, where comfortable seating and a peekaboo lake view make it easy to unwind.

As the day winds down, evenings take center stage. Fire up the grill, gather around the table, and let dinner linger a little longer. Then slip into the hot tub under the stars or head to the firepit for stories, s’mores, and that perfect end-of-day glow. If you’re not quite ready to call it a night, the arcade and games keep the fun going.

When it’s time to rest, the home settles into quiet comfort. Each bedroom offers a calm, inviting retreat, perfect for deep sleep after a full day of adventure. The stillness of the mountains takes over, and tomorrow brings it all again: fresh air, open plans, and time well spent together.

Dog-Friendly Property
This is a dog-friendly home, we love hosting well-behaved pups! To keep the space comfortable for all guests, only dogs are permitted (no cats or other pets).
Please let us know in advance if you’ll be bringing your furry friend, and be sure to add your dog to the reservation, as a pet fee applies.

A car is required to get around. Free parking is available on-site in the driveway. Ski areas, beaches, boat launches, restaurants, and entertainment are all within a 5–20 minute drive.

Boat Slip or Boat Launch:
For paid transient slips, guests may contact Fay’s Marina directly; advance contact is recommended. Alternatively, Glendale Marina offers a convenient public boat launch with parking available while in use. Please note this is a launch-only facility, so boats must be launched and removed each time.
