"Great spa trip with my daughters! Everything was done well. The hotel is undergoing renovations but you would not even know. Attentiveness to their guests is the top thing I enjoyed ! Food was good ! Rooms clean and ambience excellent! Beautiful property!"

"The Inn has 4 guest rooms on the second floor. The kitchen is on the first floor equipped with coffee machine, tea kettle, microwave and some plates. Simple breakfast is provided each morning. Some road noises can be heard at night. The room is very clean. It was a perfect place to stay for my hiking trip!"

The warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in were such a nice touch! The bed was also surprisingly comfortable - always a win when staying at a hotel. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. "The Salt Box building has steep steps to second floor, they never asked it the stairs would present any problems for us since we were all 60 plus years old, both of the rooms had broken window blinds, we had to use towels to cover the window in the bath room. Neither room had an ironing boards, we even asked for one and they never delivered it. The in room Coffee machines were old and dirty, We knew the buildings are old but they look run down, worn out etc."
