"We loved staying at the Nicolas. The room was so cozy and comfortable and the lobby was equipped with seltzer and snacks. Great location but off the main drag so the hotel was very quiet. "

"This is by far my favorite hotel in Charleston and I stayed a lot of hotels. Staying here is like staying with friends. You feel thought about, taken care of, and it has an apartment feel not a hotel feel. The Jeep driving you around locally is definitely a plus and always pleasant plus the warm cookies at night and the breakfast in the morning… Cannot say enough good things."

"My wife and I stayed for 4 days in Charleston using the Hotel Richemont as our home base. Everything we wanted to see and do was within a 30 min walk. Parking downtown did not seem to be super easy to find so this made parking the car an easy choice. The few times we needed it the valet was super friendly and always willing to help. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort...

"The room was clean and comfortable. The location is great for walking around downtown Charleston. We appreciated the pool on a hot summer day, though it is rather small for the size of the hotel. We got lucky scooping up loungers both times we went to the pool. The drinks at the pool bar were delicious! "

"Enjoyed my stay. It was close to what I needed but still an affordable location. Yes, it is near lower income housing but I didn’t feel unsafe as some others stated. The staff was warm and welcoming! Especially the lady who works the bar and food service in the mornings on Tuesdays, and the weekend desk/check in attendant. I personally enjoy that it it self service and you’re able to grab what you need at one’s convenience. I would absolutely book with you all again. Thank you for this...

"This property was great for our visit to Charleston. Close enough to everything, but far enough to not feel crowded. We loved the little park across the road. It was a great spot to watch the sunset!"

"The hallways left something to be desired/there was a slight smell, however I think it just may be in need of an upgrade because the room was phenomenal. It more than exceeded our expectations and was very clean and modern looking compared to the hallway like i said. The room we got had a balcony with a beautiful view of the marina which was a nice surprise. The elevator was a little slow, but that is not a big deal just an observation. If I return to Charleston I would certainly book here...
