Culp House: Ideal Location, Historic Gettysburg! Can Rent with the Cricket House

Five minutes walk from the center of historic Gettysburg. Only 100 yards from the East Confederate Avenue entrance to the National Battlefield Park. The ideal vacation rental for a family gathering or a quiet getaway. Fully equipped for self-catering, set in a lovely garden with deck and patio. The perfect place for your holiday in Gettysburg.
The 1890 Culp House has three queen bedrooms on the 2nd floor, one with an en suite bathroom with a step-in shower. On the 1st floor is a spacious fully equipped kitchen and a powder room. The dining room has searing for six, and the sitting room has a large sofa and armchairs, as well as a TV.
The yard at the rear is fully enclosed and private.
Free parking for three vehicles is on an off-street strip beside the house.

Perfect location in Gettysburg for walking to shops, restaurants and the town square. The house was immaculate and we appreciated the spaciousness of the kitchen, dining and living rooms. Highly recommended.

My family and I were in town for 4 days and were so pleased with the Culp House. It is in a great location with easy walking to anything in town. It was clean and really made our stay in Gettysburg so enjoyable. The owners were always quick and available for questions and check-in was a breeze.

This was our second visit to the Culp house. We love the location and the historic character of the property. Since we were there over Christmas, we also appreciated the tasteful holiday decor. If I have one suggestion, it would be to add a few more pots and pans to the kitchen equipment--but other than that we loved it and would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place. It was spacious, the rooms and beds were comfortable, the house was extremely clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was conveniently located to downtown. Lots to do within walking distance. The host was so kind, answered all my questions quickly before arrival, and very kind. I would not only stay there again, but highly recommend it.

Location location was key and it did not disappoint, this beautiful home was only a block away from Culps Hill battlefield which made it easy to walk to and also only a few walking blocks to downtown. The home itself amazing beautiful and very welcoming, clean and kitchen has everything you need.. fell in love with the victorian charm and beds are very comfortable.We will definitely book this home again for our next trip to Gettysburg. Our host are doing everything right and you won’t be disappointed, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would !

A very clean, comfortable house. We had thought about doing the hotel rooms route, but are so thankful that we chose the Culp House. Myself and my two adult sons were able to spend our free time together, and bond like we haven't been able to since they were teenagers. And best of all it is so centrally located within walking distance of the center of Gettysburg.

Great Victorian house that enhanced our Gettysburg experience. My family walked in and all I heard was Wow!, This is awesome!, and This house is amazing!." Kuddos to the housekeeper as the cleanliness and attention to detail is exceptional! The patio/garden area was delightful for morning coffee and evening chats. Convenient location from the Square and Battlefield. I honestly have nothing but great things to say about the house except for the street noise, so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Historic Gettysburg

We stayed at Culp House for 2 nights with 4 of our grandchildren. Staying in this charming, well-kept, older home in the historic district of Gettysburg seemed to help make history come alive. We toured the Battlefield and museum, and walked the neighborhood. History was everywhere!

Comfortable Historical Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The house was very clean, full of historical charm, and perfectly located just minutes from the adorable downtown Gettysburg area.
