The Minns Cottages is owned by the Minns Family who is one of the oldest Bahamian Family names in the Bahamas. The cottages have the real Family Island charm where guests are coming as guests but leaving as Family. We now have Starlink and IPTV in all the cottages so you can watch your favorite sports game or movie in the comfort of your cottage.
The Minns Cottage is conveniently located within one mile from George Town. You are less than a 10-minute walk to the food stores. The Cottages are located across from the beach, and they are fully equipped with a screened patio, fully equipped kitchen, lounge, TV, Internet. We do have a communal outdoor BBQ and laundry room with washer and dryer. We also provide beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels and coolers. Each cottage will have 7 garbage bags, two rolls of toilet paper, joy and a roll of paper towel. You just need to bring your own washing detergent. There are many activities within walking distance restaurants, straw market, water taxi, government offices, library, schools and much more. All cottages have enclosed screened patios and Air conditioning units in the lounge and bedrooms. It is a 15 minutes' drive from the International Airport (GGT). The cottages are situated in a beautiful grassy lawn, fenced with a stone wall around the property, overlooking the picturesque Elizabeth Harbour and Stocking Island. We also offer other cottages in the same location you can see it on VRBO site #3866738, #4013973, #4086519.There are many direct flights to Exuma from Toronto 3 hours on Air Canada., Miami on American Airlines, Silver Airways from Fort Lauderdale. You can also fly from Nassau on Bahamas Air or Western Air to GGT Georgetown Exuma Airport. We look forward sharing the beauty of Exuma with you and your family or friends.

Perfect location

Perfect location for our week getaway. Easy access to both the North and South ends of Exuma. Relaxing mornings on the screened in porch watching the beautiful blue waters constantly shifting colors.

Xtoria west

We enjoyed our stat at Xtoria West. The property was clean, stocked kitchen (spices and cookware...) plenty of towels. There are beach chairs and umbrellas. Washer dryer.View was incredible from the screen room. It even had TV. Food on the island wasnt to our liking but we brought frozen meat. Cant buy beef there, or deli meats. mostly chicken, food and drinks are expensive, pack accordingly. Roads are hard to drive on with all the potholes and on the left side, but we made due. Rent a boat at Minns boat rental. Such a beautiful island.

Awesome beach location!

Our stay at Minns Cottage was great! Loved the location close to town and across the street from the beach. The beach had the best snorkeling we could find! The unit had everything we needed including a washer and dryer! We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely view !

Wonderful stay. Thank you, Monica, for your help in getting us comfortable so we could enjoy our visit to Exuma. If you don’t have a car, Georgetown is just a mile down the road. The beach across the street was beautiful. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and had everything we needed for the beach.

A Week in Paradise

Sweet cottage with beach access across the highway. Glad we rented a car as we explored the island with the beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and cooler all included with the rental. Owner was prompt to respond when there was a problem with the coffee maker.

Perfect location in Exuma

Minn's Cottages were located very close to the airport and Georgetown. East commute to anything you want to do. The bay across the street is teaming with sea life and we snorkeled there daily. Extremely clean and everything you need is provided - beach towels, plenty of linens and stocked kitchen (just bring your own groceries). We grilled out the last night we were there! Loved it and will be back for sure!!

Minn’s Cottages

This was a great rental and we’d stay again. The location was perfect as it was close to the center of town. We were able to walk to restaurants, the ferry dock, etc. the house was as expected and provided everything we were looking for. The screened in front porch was great. It allowed us to enjoy the nights outside without getting bit by the bugs.

Lawn needed cutting and we were told maintenance guy was out of town. It took two days to finally get Wi-Fi password. Interior was as expected. Definitely recommend renting a car. Exumas was great! We will be back!

We stayed for a week in at minns cottages, an we loved it. Its the Perfekt location, right in between fish fry and George town. Walking distance to food and liqure store. And you just cross the road and you're at the beach for a morning swim. Thank you for a great stay.

Great laid back cottage close to town, snorkeling and beach access

Esther and Nelly did a wonderful job before we arrived getting us booked and sending us materials on the area. The cottage was clean and everything was in working order! It's not fancy and pretentious... it's relaxing and comfy. The screened in porch was an awesome feature allowing us to enjoy the view without the big bites! The view just never gets old!! The water pressure in the shower isn't fabulous, but the water is hot! It's close enough to town to walk (although we started taking the walk along the rocks by the water because the shoulder is narrow in some spots) and we could also do the same thing in the other direction to fish fry! Stocking Island is a must see! The water taxi leaves from the government dock in town and drops at chat n chill. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay, as described, with helpful local property manager

This was my first VRBO rental and the host/manager was very accommodating of some confusion in the reservation, compounded by lack of cell service as I was approaching by boat. The cottage has plenty of room and looks right out on the harbor, and is in a quiet spot not far to walk from George Town.

Pleasant basic, fairly well maintained cottage with outstanding views of the water

We enjoyed our week at Minns. Godfrey was very pleasant and enjoyable to speak with. AC worked well. No car is technically needed but to get to all of the wonderful beaches one is a very good idea. Nice to have a laundry facility included. We would return again to enjoy this well valued accomodation.
