Tesoro escondido de Tar Bay! "El lugar para ser"

Villa Marjorie se encuentra en la playa de Silver Beach, George Town, Exuma, Bahamas. Ha sido completamente remodelado y actualizado. Ella es una casa de playa de dos dormitorios y dos baños con aire acondicionado central, cocina moderna con LG electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y encimera de granito y sala de estar y comedor con una pantalla plana de TV LG de 42 pulgadas.

Cada habitación tiene un televisor de pantalla plana de 32 pulgadas y está muy bien equipado con muebles de madera oscura y disfruta de increíbles vistas a las aguas turquesas. Todas las habitaciones llevan a la playa a través de sus propios 8 pies. puertas corredizas de vidrio que dan a un 10 pies. por 37ft. balcón cubierto que está literalmente a unos pasos de la agua. Villa Marjorie está a 8 minutos en coche Este desde George Town Aeropuerto Internacional y 12 minutos al oeste del centro de George Town, Exuma

Wow! What a wonderful home, directly on the beach. My husband and I enjoyed our 8th anniversary with a few surprises from Jena. Everything we needed in the kitchen, very comfy beds, and I have to mention the awesome reclining couch. Thank you, Jena, for an unforgettable get away. We will definitely book again.

This property is amazing! It’s a super cute 2 bedroom house right on one of the prettiest beaches. The beautiful back porch runs the entire length of the house and has 4 lounge chairs with comfy cushions and a table with 4 chairs. The house is well maintained with cute decor. Jena the host is very sweet and helpful with any house needs. We truly had an amazing time and look forward to visiting again soon!!

Beautiful beach views

House is as pictured online. We appreciated the beach views from the living atea and bedrooms. Location is close to the airport and convenient for traveling to north or south end of island. There are beach chairs, floaties, and beach toys available.

Villa Marjorie is the perfect rental on the most amazing Exuma beach. The view from the house is somehow even more breathtaking than the listing pictures. We can’t wait to stay at this house again.

Lovely View — But Unresolved Issues and Health Concerns

The view from the porch overlooking turquoise waters was beautiful and truly the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, serious issues with the villa disrupted our stay. A kitchen leak caused black mold, a strong odor, and health symptoms (nausea, headaches, coughing), making the kitchen unusable for much of our two-week trip. We lost groceries and had to change our plans due to the impact on our health.While the host initially agreed to compensate us for part of the stay, we experienced delays and a lack of follow-through. After nearly two months with no resolution, we escalated the matter to VRBO. We’re grateful that a supervisor stepped in, reviewed the case thoroughly, and helped secure reimbursement from the host. VRBO also recognized the health risks we faced and provided additional support. We truly appreciated their involvement and professionalism.Other concerns included sparking outlets, poor cleanliness, mold in vents and cabinets, and misleading listing details. FYI: the villa has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4, not 3 bedrooms/6 guests. Several listed amenities were missing or unsafe (e.g., no visible fire extinguisher, rocky beach access).Though the scenery was stunning, our experience was frustrating and disappointing overall. We're thankful to VRBO for helping make things right and ensuring concerns like ours are taken seriously for future guests.

Beautiful beach

House was in a great location with beautiful beach view. Steps away from water. Although there were neighboring houses, still felt very private as rarely saw anyone out. The house was very comfortable with central air. There were a few close by snorkeling reefs in either direction that had lots of interesting fish. Loved the house and island and would definitely return.

Beautiful home. Perfect beach.

Home is recently renovated. Everything is well done. Beds are comfortable. My friend slept in 2nd bedroom and said she had the best sleep on vacation ever. Porch overlooking the water is priceless. Swing was a fun addition. Neighbor houses are close but never heard a sound when inside. Would recommend.

Amazing Stay!

We had a great stay at Villa Marjorie. The location of the home is wonderful for exploring both Great Exuma and Little Exuma. Not to mention having a beach right out the back door and a huge back porch to relax on when you are ready for some shade. Home is well stocked and even has beach chairs, a cooler etc. I’ve been a sales executive for a vacation rental property mgt company that manages over 30,000 homes and have worked with a lot of owners/local hosts and I have to say that Jena is one of the best! She’s accommodating, kind and very prompt with responses. We are looking forward to our next stay and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay - plan to return. Great home, very clean. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Beach is very quiet, many times we were on our own. Easy drive to George Town. Exuma Point was a favorite spot and an easy drive. Was apprehensive on being on the main road, but at night it was very quiet. Not difficult to get out of the driveway (as someone complained). Comfy beds. Great spot.

You can’t beat this location for a vacation! House was very comfortable and clean. Right on the beach! Due to airline issues we missed most of our short getaway, only 2 nights and 1 full day. We already booked for next year. It had been a few years since we had gone to Exuma, this was our 5th trip.

Perfect Tar Bay Home

This property was perfect for our family of three. It is located centrally on the island and is easy to access anywhere you want to go around the island. The views are amazing from the living/dining/kitchen area and both bedrooms. I have nothing but great things to say about this property. Some of the best things about this home is that the refrigerator had a working ice maker and there were tons of extra ice trays filled upon our arrival. The water was hot with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable. There were great loungers with cushions to use on the beach there at the house plus there were portable beach chairs and a cooler and umbrella to take with you to the many beaches of Exuma. We will definitely stay here again if it available as it was great all the way around!

Great Anniversary trip

The house is excellent for 2 couples. We only were two people on this trip. Plenty of beach towels ( don’t pack your own) that are large and soft. The beds are good. We stayed in the master bedroom the first 2 nights but then went to the other bedroom with a queen bed that has a much softer mattress. The back sliding door from the living area is broken and does not lock. It took us a few days to discover there are safes in both bedrooms, however; the safes are not bolted to the floor…. So what’s the use?The grills are sketchy but one works and that’s all we needed. Bathroom in the master bathroom has loose tile on the step into the shower that breaks off. Be careful. The location is great for traveling the whole island. We would stay here again. Really had a wonderful time at this place. Just wanted to give a couple tips on things that need improvement.

This is my 2nd stay at Villa Marjorie, this time with 2 of my friends. The location is central and super convenient. The back porch and beach are the best part of the house. We spent each night on the porch enjoying the view, breeze and sounds of the waves. Exiting the driveway can be difficult to see so take caution.

Description is NOT accurate

Lovely house but the description was not accurate. There are NOT three bedrooms as listed and the third “bed” is a fold out couch that doesn’t even lay flat. Very disappointing. As this was a family vacation our teens were so uncomfortable on couch they needed to stay with family in a different Vrbo. No laundry soap provided and not enough toilet paper. There is no check in book to help navigate that property very disappointing again.
