The Minns Cottage is conveniently located right next to George Town. You are less than a 10 minute walk to the food stores,

The Cottages are located across from the beach and they are fully equipped with TV, Internet, outdoor BBQ There are many activities within walking distance restaurants, straw market, water taxi, government offices, library, schools and much more. ALL COTTAGES HAVE ENCLOSED SCREENED PATIOS (FREE WIFI INCLUDED)
Approximately 15 minutes east of the International Airport (GGT), the cottages are situated in a beautiful grassy lawn, fenced with a stone wall around the property, overlooking the picturesque Elizabeth Harbour and Stocking Island.

Homey and Welcoming

We loved staying at Minns cottages. The place was spacious, clean, well equipped. We had a great view and easy access to things. What was most special about it was how responsive and welcoming Micheal and Kissy were. Also - the people on the Island were kind and friendly. We socially loved being able to have a cookout l.

exuma extrem teuer, fast keine lokale geöffnet,möglicherweise saison vorbei, nicht unbedingt die beste lage, ohne leihwagen geht es nicht, unterkunft sauber und gut eingerichtet, haus selbst 70er jahre mit amerikanischen standart, europäisch 2 sterne kategorie, sind dann früher abgereist

Exactly what we wanted

We were greeted by someone when we checked in. Very friendly and great experience. The space was spacious and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch for meals and just enjoying the view of the ocean. Convenient location was close enough to town to walk, however we rented a car for our stay. Overall great experience and will definitely look at booking here again next time we visit the island.

Perfect location! Beautiful cottage!

We had everything that we needed while staying at this cottage! The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of clean towels. We were greeted right away by the kind Bahamian caretaker, she gave us a tour of the property and gave us the keys to our own little paradise for the week. There was an awesome secluded beach right across the street, which we frequented everyday! 10 stars for this cottage!!!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Exuma for our 20th anniversary! Our Minn’s cottage was perfect for the week. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. The island and the people of Exuma are beautiful!!

Awesome Place! Great Location!

Great place. Great location. Close to town to pick up items. Private beach across the street with great snorkeling. Fully stocked kitchen that will save you some money, cooking breakfast or lunch at home. We loved the screened in porch at night for music and drinks, and also eating breakfast with a view. Host was very responsive to any requests we had. On-site laundry was great. Overall a really great experience and a great price.

Ixuma East - cottage

We had all the necessities for: cooking, sleeping, towels for bathroom, kitchen, beach, etc. Cable TV and WiFi OK. Split system AC heat pump provided comfortable temperatures inside residence. Problem issues: need to repair or install new stove; only 2 stove top electric burners working. Not sure about oven. Toilet handle sticks so It keeps running after flushing. Need to pull handle up so tank fills. Suggest installing a new water saving toilet. Laundry, parking and trash pickup OK.

Nice property with a beautiful ocean view

The property is well located, near George Town and a small beach that is not crowded. The house is clean, but would benefit from upgrades, specially in the kitchen and the bathroom. The bedroom is large, and the bed comfortable. The availability of a communal BBQ grill is a plus. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great spot

Terrific location. Easy walk to both Georgetown and the fish fry. Comfy cozy cottage. We really appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. The beach out front was too rough for snorkelling. But lots of other fabulous beaches to visit in the area. Highly recommend.

The location was ideal since there is a beach right across the street. The only complaint is a bit of road noise from Queen's Highway and that there was no good dish cleaning utensils.

Minns cottages were very clean and had everything you need if you want to cook It’s close to the street so it can be loud at times. You can smell exhaust fumes if out on the screen porch. ( one thing to note: you are supplied with 2 rolls toilet paper and 1 paper towel.. so when you run out you need to go and buy more- not what I expected or wanted to shop for on vacation!) the property owner was excellent at giving recommendations for car rentals, food, etc if you are plan to stay at the cottage just know they could use some updates (bath/kitchen) but overall it was fine as we were out most of the day. It’s close to town but a tough walk as there is no sidewalk. A car is a must!

Nice place for the budget

Needs a face lift upgrade to kitchen and bathroom. has that 60/70's look . Bedroom nice and comfortable and appoint well. Road noise can be loud from trucks and smell of deasil fumes. but at night screened Poarch is mellow. All very good for budget minded young couple.

Great stay

My husband and I had a great stay at Monica’s cottage for our honeymoon. It is perfectly located near Georgetown, beautiful beaches and the infamous Fish Fry. I would recommend renting a car to explore the remainder of the island but essentials are within walking distance. The cottage was clean and well equipped, and we appreciated access to beach chairs, coolers, etc. Monica was a great host.

Lovely, relaxing stay!

Across from a beach and walking distance to stores and restaurants. Older, but clean property. Well equipped with everything you need. You will need to bring shampoo and coffee but they supply a lot of towels, including beach towels. Also, beach chairs and coolers are available. The property manager is always available but not intrusive.

Great hidden gem, for a good price, Monica was very good with communication and even stopped by to say hello. Enjoyed the serene beautiful spot with easy access to everything the island offers, can walk to local spots, but I say rent a car and explore the hidden beaches!!

Excellent vacation getaway.

Very clean property. One mile round trip walk to town. Very convenient to restaurants and grocery store. Monica was an excellent host and responsive to inquiries. Would stay here again. Recommend to those visiting to rent a boat from Minns to visit Stocking Island. The water taxi only runs between 11 am and 5pm which may shorten your exploration. Be sure to eat at Shirley’s. It is delicious!

Your own private paradise

We had an amazing stay at Minns cottages, Monica is extremely helpful and helped us plan most details of our stay in George Town. We did not need to take any taxis, everything was in walking distance. To the left, the fish fry. We went to the karaoke bar there and had so much fun! To the right, you have the whole town with grocery stores and liquor stores and many nice little restaurants. However , after 6pm most businesses are closed. Monica was kind enough to get us some groceries for the first day because we arrived later. Directly across the street there is a huge beach, with no other people and an abandoned resort, there is a sunken boat to the left side of the pier there between the wooden pillars and the snorkeling was absolutely amazing ! We got picked up for our excursions right at our front door step. If you’re looking for a quiet, laid back, nature escape from a busy city, this is the place to go! The people are so friendly and Monica was the best !! We highly recommend !

Excellent getaway

We spent a week at the Minns Cottages and had a great time. The cottages are in a great location and there is a small beach across the street (and a snorkeling reef off the nearby point). Monica is very friendly and helpful, always offering us suggestions and answering any questions we had. The cottage was well equipped and we had everything we needed during our stay. The screened in porch was really nice to sit on in the evening. When we return to Exuma, we sill definitely stay here again!
