Gaylord sits at the heart of Northern Michigan’s outdoor playground and is known as Michigan’s “Alpine Village.” Fall brings vibrant colors, crisp air, scenic drives, and beautiful outdoor scenery. Just a 7-minute drive from Otsego Lake, you’ll have easy access to peaceful waterfront views and autumn adventures.

Downtown Gaylord is just 6 minutes away, offering local shops, breweries, and restaurants. With easy access to I-75, you can also explore Northern Michigan’s seasonal highlights, including Traverse City, Petoskey, and Mackinaw City.

- Smoking is NOT allowed indoors. Any evidence of smoking inside of the cabin will result in a surcharge.
- There is a only ONE bathroom in the property. Although, there is enough sleeping space for up to 8 people, please consider your bathroom needs prior to booking.

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:

Option 1: Damage Waiver ($43) - Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$3/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.

Option 2: Security Deposit ($1,500) - Refundable temporary hold that releases after your stay.
