The hike to Kings Pinnacle isn't too difficult, but the view is great!
The hike up to Kings Pinnacle is pretty easy (minus the very end), but the views are the kind you'd expect from a much tougher hike. A quick detour on a #roadtrip home from Thanksgiving in South Carolina led us here!

I refer to Crowders Mountain as the gem of Gaston County. This is my go-to place to hike when I don't want to drive far but still feel like I'm getting away. Amazing long range views which include the Appalachian mountains and even the Charlotte skyline. Miles and miles of trails and steep, rocky climbs and two separate peaks; Crowders peak and Kings Pinnacle. This photo was taken on the Crowders Peak.
