    The apartment is located in a well-maintained 5-family house with a stunning mountain view of the Alpspitze and the Waxenstein Mountains toward the Zugspitze. In a quiet yet central location, just a 5-minute walk from the Zugspitzbahn, the Alpspitzwellenbad, the ice rink, and the train station.

    A supermarket in the neighborhood and all other shopping options in the town center are within easy walking distance. On the same street, a new 4-star hotel offers wonderful wellness facilities for relaxation. The ski bus to all of Garmisch’s ski areas and the local bus stop right in front of the door. The comfortable, bright apartment is equipped with everything you need for daily life.

This was our second time staying at the Atempause rental and we loved it just as much if not more than our first stay! Walter, the host, is always very kind, helpful, flexible and accommodating. His communication regarding the property was always great too! The actual apartment is gorgeous, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the views are amazing. For our travel plans, the location is perfect - walking distance to in town and the local grocery store is right across the street which saved us time to enjoy other things. We didn't need it but the train is right across the street as well which could certainly be helpful for traveling outside of town if you don't have a vehicle like we did. The property has a washer and dryer which came in handy and it also had two under ground parking spots for our rental cars which saved us money on street parking. We are looking forward to our next stay here and calling it our home away from home! Thanks for the great memories Walter! :)

Great stay

This property has a GREAT location! It is charming, had plenty of space for 2 couples and was immaculate. Looking at the mountains from the large deck was awesome. We will stay again if we ever get back to Garmisch.

Perfect Apartment

The location was excellent as it was right beside the train station. The Zugspitze train station was also very close which was very convenient. Additionally, the veiw from the apartment was amazing and there was a lidl right across the road. We had a very good stay here!

Die Wohnung war hervorragend, sauber und für unseren Aufenthalt perfekt vorbereitet. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon war wunderbar. Der Bahnhof auf der andern Straßenseite (nicht Balkonseite) war nicht störend. Ein weiterer Besuch in dem sehr schönen Ort und auch in dieser super Wohnung ist für uns sicher.

Fantastic apartment in perfect location with beautiful views

We had a great time staying in this very clean and well equipped apartment. We arrived by train from Munich and the apartment was a very short walk away although we could not hear the trains at all from the apartment. The apartment was also very well placed for the cogwheel train station to lake Eibsee and the Zugspitz mountain. We had a fantastic view of the mountain from our balcony window. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect ‘Atempause’

Great flat with great views of the Zugspitze. Close to the train and bus station, supermarket 2 minutes away and just a short walk into Garmisch. Perfect.

The property is a beautiful apartment with a beautiful view. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook good meals. And there’s a supermarket right across the street. The location is ideal, easy walking distance to many restaurants. Communication with the landlord is excellent. We’ll be back.

Best place I have stayed in Garmisch

Location can’t be beat. Walking distance to the shopping platz, the train station, and zugspitze bahn. Ski bus outside the door. Amazing views from balcony. Plenty of room to stretch out. Fireplace. Walter was very kind and helpful. Well equipped kitchen.Comfortable beds.The list goes on.

Wonderful apartment in beautiful location

Everything about our stay was excellent. The communication with Walter and checking-in/out was simple and clear. The apartment itself was amazing; clean, modern and equppied with everything you could need. The view of the mountains from the balcony was beautiful. The location of the apartment was also perfect, close to the town and right next to the train station and mountain railway. Everything about the stay was wonderful. Thank you!
