Osprey Point Rest

This studio apartment is a short five minutes outside of the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park, “Osprey Point Rest” is perched on a bluff overlooking the Yellowstone River and famous landmark Devil’s Slide. An abundance of wildlife can easily be spotted from the reading nook or queen bed out the big window overlooking the Yellowstone River; elk, bison, coyotes, deer and the occasional wolf. Both bald eagles and osprey fish along the Yellowstone River below. The Mountains, river and wildlife make this a photographer's paradise!

Water from the tap is clean and crisp rocky mountain spring water, no bottled water necessary. Come relax in your own comfortable, well appointed apartment.

There is free on-site parking right in front of the main, private entrance. The owner has fenced the yard so it will be free from lovely but often pesky wildlife, free for you to sit outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air and gaze out at the Yellowstone River and mountains beyond on a patio with outdoor chairs.

The studio is complete with a comfortable queen bed, reading lamps on both sides, reading area with a rocking chair and additional LED lights for reading. WiFi and TV are available for more entertainment. We have a window AC unit for the hot summer months. The cathedral ceilings are made from knotty pine.

The kitchenette is thoughtfully stocked complete with a mini refridgerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, electric hot water pot, hot plate, pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware, coffee mugs, tea, honey, spices, and beyond.

Guests have a full and private tiled wall shower and tub combo, small vanity, and toilet. We provide shampoo, soap, towels, toilet paper, and a hair dryer. The bathroom has a door for privacy.

Please note that there is absolutely NO SMOKING inside the suite or anywhere on the property.

Lovely stay near Yellowstone

We enjoyed our stay at Osprey Point. The location is convenient to Gardiner, Paradise Valley, and Yellowstone, and the rental was clean, comfortable and has very thoughtful amenities like a cooler and bear spray to borrow and all the kitchen gadgets we needed. As other reviews have noted, one of the rental’s neighbors is a small scrap operation, but we didn't have any issues with noise or anything else from that. Also we enjoyed watching the elk and birds from the yard or the corner windows.

Nice Little House with a Tremendous View

Clean, neat and easy to find apartment. We enjoyed our stay and the nearby hot springs of Yellowstone were a real treat. Easy drive to the Yellowstone entrance in Gardiner.

Nice place near the north entrance to Yellowstone

This little place is all we needed during our adventures in the northern region of Yellowstone and along the Beartooth Highway. It’s clean, well stocked, and the bed is very comfy. It was relaxing to sit and gaze at the sunset over the mountains after a busy day!

Anniversary Trip

Everything is as explained and outlined in the write up. Only thing you don’t know until you get there is the neighbor directly behind the property owns a junk yard. Late night noises kept us awake sometimes. Overall the view out the front and in the side yard is beautiful. We saw a herd of elk while drinking our coffee outside. The sunsets are impeccable and the care and attention the property manager provided was great. Thank you for the personalized handwritten card and muffin for our anniversary.

Great location

Nice room. Not fancy, but very comfortable. Nicely equipped. Property owner really makes it special and made sure we had all we needed. Made the extra effort to get us a bigger coffee maker and enough coffee to get started. Supplied coolers and bear spray.

Great Getaway

Exactly as advertised and is a great choice for visiting Yellowstone. It is very cozy and provides great views when relaxing after a long day of exploring Yellowstone. Host communicates very well.

Very comfortable

Osprey Point is a very short drive out of town so it’s quiet, and very private. Beautiful views across the river of mountains and elk in fields. Plenty of hot water, bed is nice and comfortable. Dorthy has thought of everything. Kitchen is well equipped and everything is in good repair and clean. She is quick to respond to text messages and a delight to deal with. We will strongly recommend Osprey Point

Great Spot for a Couple Exploring Yellowstone

This property has a beautiful view. I loved waking up to the sun rising over the mountains. The pictures are an accurate representation, this rental will provide you with a comfortable bed after a long day exploring.

Small cute studio with Giant views

We truly loved staying here not only being so close to Yellowstone but the big windows to look out makes this place even better. I slept with blinds open and at night you can see all the stars and moon rising. The lovely yard would make grounding awesome with that deep green soft grass. We saw a bunny hop and n the yard 🐰 Thank you so much for hosting us, and for helping me get my coat after I clumsily left it 😊

Yellowstone Honeymoon

This was the perfect little cabin for my husband and I on our honeymoon. Very close to Yellowstone and so many of its attractions. We would hike and adventure all day and be able to come relax at the end of the day with a beautiful view and nice bed. A few other reviewers mentioned the neighbors place being junky but my mechanic husband couldn’t stop talking about all the “cool stuff” they had in their yard and the neighbors kept to themselves and are behind the cabin so it doesn’t diminish your view of the mountain and river at all. It was wonderful as were the owners!

Amazing stay

Beautiful view

The property was clean and the perfect size for 2. Took us just minutes to get to the north entrance of Yellowstone. We seen a ton of elk close to the property and it was close to a gas station to stop by daily for essentials. We made good use of the hot plate to cook breakfast in the morning. Owner was very responsive with answers to questions.

Very clean & well supplied place. Beautiful view from ridge it sits on--saw 80 elk cple hundred yds away first night. Neighbor's place behind is very junky but never interfered with us. Wld definitely stay again.

Hidden gem.

Don’t let your first impression as you drive up fool you. As soon as you enter, you appreciate the effort made to provide a space to relax in. The view of the mountains through the large Windows is wonderful. After a full day in Yellowstone, we enjoyed eating our evening meals there while watching the herds of Elk come down and graze in the evening. We also enjoyed hearing the bull elk buggeling. We appreciated the well appointed interior. The private outdoor area is very nice.

Nice getaway close to Yellowstone

We were very happy with the location & beauty of the area of the property & convenience of the location to Yellowstone. It was close to small town for supplies yet able to see wildlife by river & from property. Owner kept place stocked with items we may need. Was a little concerned when walked in due to my allergies with a musty smell (place was clean) but with my air purifier & in & out it was soon gone. Would recommend this location to friends! Thank so much for sharing your place! Beautiful!
