Very Private Cabin Nestled in the Pines with Awesome Views

  • The Hideaway is just that! Nestled on a large, forested area abutting the Boise National Forest you can wander for hours through the pines or just enjoy the fabulous mountain/valley views from the deck. This updated cabin has room for six guests in three private bedrooms – King and two Queens and a main floor full bath and ½ bath upstairs. Get cozy in the living area with toasty wood burning stove (wood provided for heat in winter). The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to share some great meals, especially if dining alfresco on the covered deck. The evenings might find you gathered around the outdoor firepit for storytelling or just roasting some good ole fashioned s'mores! Bring your toys as there is ample parking and you can ride out to the miles of trail system just down the road. Your pets are always welcome here. Close to everything Garden Valley has to offer.

4 Stars does need some improvement

The downstairs bathroom faucet was loose, it was very hot upstairs and lots of stickers outside that our dogs kept getting into. It was very quiet and we liked that.

This is our second stay at this beautiful cabin. It’s always very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The views are amazing and the location is perfect. We went swimming at Terrace Lakes Hotsprings pool. Deer were on the property. We had everything we needed to cook and BBQ. The fire pit was perfect for a fire and s’mores. My Mom, brother, and my two grandchildren had a a great time! We would highly recommend this cabin!

We loved the kitchen with all the cookware and dishes. We had everything we needed. I brought my own waffle maker & all our own spices & foods. We saw turkeys & elk every day while eating breakfast & playing games.

This was a wonderful cabin to stay with our family and pup. We enjoyed the privacy of this cabin being at the end of the road. We saw so much wildlife from the comfort of the living room, it was awesome! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a lack of cleaning supplies (there was only about 1/4 roll of paper towels) and although they left us wood for woodstove there was no kindling or hatchet to make some.

We had a a relaxing stay in a cute, secluded cabin.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor area of this cabin. It had a nice deck that has a little morning sun, and then is shaded the rest of the day. The deck overlooks a shaded area with a fire pit. Camping with comfort!

This is the 3rd year in a row we've stayed here. We just live the coziness and the privacy of it. This time the water pressure was terrible! Was so bad the shower was just a dribble at the end. The upstairs sink I couldn't wet a wash cloth to wash my face. Also the bed in the upstairs bedroom with the queen bed needs to be changed out or out a pillow top on it. It's quite hard and you can feel the springs. I've slept on the king bed once and it was pretty lumpy as well.

The cabin has a beautiful view and it’s very quiet.

We enjoyed waking up and seeing the snow on the mountain tops and the wildlife. No one ever disturbed us the whole week.

Quiet cabin location

Very quiet location. The cabin was nice but the floors inside were dirty. The kitchen is nice but there are no spices, not even salt or pepper. Make sure you pack all your own seasonings for the food you cook and bring Saran Wrap, foil and baggies.

Beautiful Cabin and Location

Family weekend trip. The cabin was so beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. We saw elk, peacocks, deer and fawns on the property. We enjoyed the short drive to Terrace Lakes Resort to swim. We had everything we needed to BBQ and eat in at the cabin. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. The scenery and views were amazing at the cabin. The fire pit was great for s’mores. The whole trip was great!! Thank you!!

Weekend getaway

We had the best family getaway at the hideaway. Loved the location and saw wildlife daily. Well stocked and very clean. Would absolutely love to spend more time here! The only thing I would recommend is installing curtains or blinds in the upstairs bedroom. Felt weird to not be able to close off the night.

Great location

We were very happy with this property. It was clean and nicely updated. Plenty of dishes and nice cookware. The location at the end of the road is nice and private even though there are nearby neighbors. Lots of trees, plenty of parking. We enjoyed the covered deck mornings and evenings when it wasn't as hot. Also, the A/C was a plus!

A beautiful view

The views from the cabin are amazing. It snowed a few days I was there and I could see the valley as the snow fell. It's so peaceful and secluded up there. The communication with Karen was great. She did everything she could to help me with what I needed. I will be back!

The place was very nice. We were enjoying our vacation until (who we believe was the property manager) decided to show up unannounced and with her dog and a friend and a maintenance person. Something to do with the water, which seemed to be fine anyway. She was all “oh sorry didn’t look to see if anyone was here this week, and how she made appointment with the maintenance guy a month an 1/2 ago, and how we could just stay an extra day or wut ever”. Which since we knew she wasn’t looking at the schedule that that was not a possibility(just empty promises). Very unprofessional and Very poor judgment on her part, especially since I made reservations about 7 months before. Clearly doesn’t ever check the schedule. Should have looked before she scheduled maintenance guy, also should have literally just turned around when she did show up, seeing people were there. I felt bad for the maintenance guy he seemed very uncomfortable with the situation. He was nice tho. Besides that the views are amazing and the wildlife was cool to see cruise by daily. The cabin itself was very comfortable as well. Would stay again (well as long as I knew we wouldn’t be bothered)

Amazing hideaway

This place exceeded our expectations from the welcome sign to the new appliances. The deck and grill are wonderful and maintained immaculately. The grill cooks perfectly even across all burners. The oven is clean and brand new. This place is a top notch vacation home. Lots of room inside and outside perfect for toys or just space to play. Very pet friendly with new pergola floors throughout. Comfortable, perfect mountain location overlooking the valley and a slight view of vehicles below on the main road. Very quiet and perfect for a romantic getaway.

Private Cabin with Mountain View and daily wildlife

My family and I stayed at this cabin for a week. It was quiet and clean with three bedrooms. It has nice newer appliances, but still feels like a cabin on the inside. It was perfect for our family. The air conditioning was perfect for a week of 100 degree temperatures. The road into the cabin is a little rough, but our FWD minivan did just fine, and it’s not very far off the main road. We saw multiple deer walking the property nightly. We brought our dog and he loved the property too. Would definitely come back.
