We stayed at Residenza Olivo for one week and unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. The apartment itself was mostly clean and the location was good, however a major issue was that the air conditioning — which is clearly advertised as an included amenity — was completely switched off.
This was not mentioned anywhere on Expedia or the property’s own website before booking. We reported the issue during our stay and were eventually told that the system had been turned off because it was considered “too cold at night,” but no alternative solution was offered.
Unfortunately, the apartment became very uncomfortable at times, our sleep was affected, and this triggered migraines during the trip. Had we known the air conditioning would be unavailable, we would likely have chosen alternative accommodation.
The most disappointing part was the lack of transparency and the handling of the complaint afterward, it feels like they don't care. We understand seasonal systems can happen, but this should be clearly stated before booking so guests can make an informed decision.
Overall, the stay did not match the amenities that were advertised and I wouldn't recommend this place.
