"Das Zimmer war sauber. Wir hatten das Dachgeschoss Zimmer, mitte Juni, sehr warm, keine Klimaanlage. Es gab einen sehr lauten Ventilator. Das Dachfenster ging nicht richtig zu öffnen. Ansonsten war es eine gute Unterkunft für die Durchreise nach Italien."

We are Canadians so we are not accustomed to the heat and the strength of the sun here in this heat wave. The lady at the dest was wonderful and the restaurant was amazing. "The staff was very helpful, the beds are comfyand there is a wonderful view of the Aare River. Note that there is no AC and because we arrived during a heatwave, the staff provided us with fans. There are green spaces and a water park near by. The historic district of Solothurn is just across the river. I would stay here again."

"It was the hottest week in years; no air conditioning and no fans. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since you have to go through the Mexican restaurant to get to the hotel rooms, we had a difficult time leaving early on the day of checkout."

The location was superb in the old historic part of town. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. We will definitely return and recommend Hotel Baseltor 150% ! The stores and history nearby were perfect and we have many memories now to savor. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience with zero complaints !!"
