Welcome to Water’s Edge in Jamaica Beach where families can have fun in the sun and shade, in the water and on land! Water views are everywhere from this house that is just around the corner from the bay access. For the water, we have two kayaks, including a fast fishing kayak, a paddleboard, inflatable floats and floating saddle seats. For everyone’s safety, we also have life jackets of various sides including for kids. Want some waves? The beach on the Gulf side is a few minutes away by car, or you can rent a golf cart…either way you can park on the beach so it’s easy to bring beach chairs, toys and boogies boards, all of which is available at the house for your use.

Tired of the water? We have a HUGE dock and covered patio area that features two porch swings, a single swing, a picnic table that’s great for eating dinner together using the new Weber charcoal grill (charcoal provided by the guest), or playing games, and a great wet bar. Love fishing? We have fishing rod holders by the dock and an underwater light that regularly features redfish, trout and more at night. In the garage, challenge each other to games of foosball or darts!

Want to get around the neighborhood or your kids want to do something else? We have three cruiser bikes – two adult and one child’s 24” bike. The yard is gated so pets and young kids can be kept safe from wandering into the cul de sac.

On the large, recently renovated upper deck, we have lounge chairs with new cushions and pillows, an outdoor eating table and Weber gas grill (propane provided by guest) and new umbrella for those sunny days. At night you can enjoy sitting together to watch the shades of sunset change over the bay. We also have a gate to keep kids and pets upstairs.

In the recently updated house, Water’s Edge has windows across the entire water side of the home for a bright open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The large kitchen includes stainless steel appliances including a 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and best of all, a wine (or beverage) fridge! The kitchen also has a pantry and lots of storage space, and is fully equipped with everything you need. Traveling with small kids? We also have plastic plates and cups so you don’t need to worry about broken dishes.

The dining table seats six and features a bar counter with an additional four bar stools to fit a larger group. The living room has very comfortable sectional sofas and two chairs so you can comfortably sit together to watch TV or play games. We have Hulu and have a DVD player with some throwback DVD movies.

Water’s Edge has three spacious bedrooms and two full baths all on the main floor so no additional stairs!

The large master features a queen size Tempur-pedic memory foam bed and en suite master bath with a jet tub. In these days where so many can work from anywhere - if you need to log on for a while, the master also has a desk and comfortable desk chair with extra plugs and phone chargers. And who wouldn’t love to work while looking out the windows to the water?

The second bedroom also has a comfortable full size bed with European pillow top and a desk, and the third bedroom has a full bed and a new bunk bed for kids or parents and kids to be together – also with water views. The third bedroom has books for kids of different ages so you can entice them away from the electronics! There’s also a full-sized air mattress if an additional sleeping space is needed. The second bathroom has a full bathtub with shower head.

Amenities include: Keyless entry, 55” Smart TV with Hulu streaming service in the living room, complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, central A/C and heat, all linens, towels, blankets, dishes and cookware including a new crockpot, a small crawfish boil pot/burner, washer/dryer, jet tub in master, a queen bed, 2 full beds and a bunk bed, board games, puzzles and books, wet bar, attached boat slip, deck ladder for swimming in the canal, 2 kayaks and paddle board with paddles and life vests, 3 cruiser bikes, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, new foosball and darts set, and much more is included with your stay! Beach towels are not included.

2. List all the names and ages of the guests staying at the house. Minors' ages are not required.
3. Will you bring any dogs? State their breed. The pet fee is $150/non-refundable. 2 dogs max for non-aggressive breed owners' approval.

Before you reserve your stay, please review the important rules that must be followed…
- This home is on a quiet cul de sac street in a family-friendly neighborhood. Many homeowners live here year-round. This home is not for parties – no prom groups or parties are allowed at any time.
- The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time is 8 unless approved by Water’s Edge in advance.
- Guests must be 25 years of age to reserve the house. Adult guests may not rent the home on behalf of underage guests.
- No underage drinking.
- No loud music or other disturbances to the neighboring residents. - No trespassing on other properties.
- No more than 3 cars may be parked on the property – all cars must fit on the driveway. Cars are not permitted to be parked on the road or they will be towed.
- A maximum of two non-aggressive breed dogs are permitted for a fee, approved by the owner. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture, and may not be left unattended. A crate is available.
