This coastal beach house is ready for you and your family! It's a second-row home with an unobstructed view and offers easy beach access. Relax in the sun on the furnished balcony or kick back in the cool air conditioning after a long day at the beach. This home is beautifully decorated with several amenities to make you feel right at home.

What's nearby:
This rental is just seven miles from the Seawall's many restaurants, shops, and fishing piers, and is also just 11 miles from the world-famous Strand shopping district. This home is one of the closer beachfront homes to all the local attractions: enjoy the rides at Pleasure Pier, miniature golf, historic buildings, museums, Moody Gardens, and the Schlitterbahn Water Park. Galveston State Park is also just down the street with access to the bay for fishing and boating.

On this occasion we needed to have the heat on & it was good. We loved the location & would stay there again for sure. The silverware was very sparse and it would've been nice to have had a broom. We used the fireplace but it wasn't till the 2nd day we found the utensils for tending a fire in the guest bedroom closet. the property is well laid out and beautiful.

The house is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. When we first arrived, the digital door lock was not working, but luckily, there is a key in a lock box on the property. The house smelled like cigarette smoke when we entered, despite being a non-smoking property. The unobstructed view of the gulf is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked, except for skillets. There is only one very small nonstick skillet, and another skillet in the cabinet was dirty with cooked, stuck on egg from another guest. The beds are generally comfortable. We would have appreciated an extra blanket or two. Having the fireplace was very nice. The icemaker and the Keurig coffee maker didn’t work, which was a little bit of an inconvenience that required two separate trips back to the grocery store. The shower and water pressure are good. No counter space or drawer space in the bathrooms. We appreciated the puzzles and games in the closet, although we tried two different puzzles and they were missing so many pieces, they could not be completed so fair warning on the puzzles! :) the smart TV allows guests to login to Netflix, etc with their own accounts, but the local network channels are not available. This normally would not be a big deal, but we were hoping to watch football over the Thanksgiving weekend. We eventually figured out how to stream from our phone to the TV to watch the games, but not really convenient. Overall, it was a nice stay… Just a few details that need to be attended to.

Everything was perfect with the exception of the AC. It was fine in the mornings but for the rest of the day and night it was high 70s, low 80s which was unbearable at times. The fans help, and we even kept the shutters down during the day, but it was still hot most of the time. The house otherwise was great- kid friendly, amazing location, had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun beach getaway especially for little kids. Easy access to a great beach area! We had a great time making memories :)

This in NO way reflects the host, however, previous renters and future renters should respect the areas they stay. My wife spent a majority of the time being concerned as there was a used razor blade in the shower, our 8 yr old stepped on (thank goodness it was face down), broken and shattered coffee pot covered in mold, trash in the bin, under the liner and scattered around the yard. The dishwasher was moldy and had dishes in cupboards had food and coffee on them. While enjoying the patio and hammock, ambushed by yard crew. (Daughter’s asthmatic so that was very concerning). We located our toilet paper on the balcony ha ha (not a big deal, kinda funny!) The beach house was beautiful and the area very peaceful. We would love rent again and have nothing negative about the house or area. The tenants need to be more respectful and considerate about the owners property. We did clean the yard, washed out the trash bin, discarded the broken glass and purchased dishwasher cleaner so the next guest could enjoy to the best of their ability. It really is beautiful

Spring Breakers

The house was clean, and the amenities were great. We would not stay again because there is no dryer. With kids needing dry swim suits, towels, clothes, etc., it was inconvenient to hang dry outside (plus only half of the clips worked). We don’t want to have to spend time at the laundromat on vacation. If doing laundry isn’t a concern for you, then it’s a great house! Also, we had a delay in getting a hold of the property manager. It took over 3 hours for assistance upon checking in, and we felt that was too long.

It’s all the little things

Great location and beach views… Neighborhood is quiet and there’s plenty of privacy… Overall, a very good experience… It’s just the little things that could’ve made it so much better… Master bedroom, sliding door didn’t work… No hot water in the half bath… No hot water in the kitchen…. No one instructions on where the washer and dryer were… Also dryer didn’t work… Front door lock was very temperamental… And finally, several of the windows were covered by the outdoor security blinds, and we couldn’t see out of them… Somebody paying attention to all these little things would make it a five star top notch rental

Great Beach Getaway!

Our family of 4 stayed at this adorable beach house over the July 4th holiday weekend. We really enjoyed the house and it was a perfect size for us! It had everything you could possibly need as far as furnishings and in the kitchen, as well as a plethora of beach items like toys and boogie boards. It was located so conveniently, both to the beach and to town. We liked that it was far enough away from town to not be in the mix of the business of the holiday traffic, but also close enough we could be in town in 15-20 minutes to go eat or do things. As far as getting to the beach, a quick 1-minute walk (at the very most) and you were on it! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet beach stay!

The View was devine!

This was the perfect little getaway retreat! The view was stunning. WE enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. It is a 15 minute drive to all the happenings in Galveston. We loved that though! We also were there in November so it was pretty quiet. The fact that you have no obstruction view was amazing. Only thing I did not like is they had no mugs.. I know weird but I am a tea drinker and did missed that. We would defiantly book it again. It would be great for a family too. We walked the beaches every day.

A Perfect Getaway

Our stay at this vacation rental was simply wonderful! The location was ideal, offering easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The property itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved every minute of our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Quick stay before a cruise

Hello! We stayed here for two nights before a cruise. We got in super late the first night so we only had a little more than 24 hours to really enjoy the property. The property is lovey and I a cute little community. The coffee shop a few miles down the road is amazing, but there’s really not much else around. The beach in front of the house was wonderful and clean. We were generally the only people there. The house doesn’t come with a ton of extra items like a dustpan but it suited out family just fine. In reality, I wish we had more days to enjoy this home! Management was super responsive and ready to help.

Long Weekend in Galveston

Went to Galveston for some R&R and beach time. Pros: Location! Even though the house is second row, there is no house in front of it so you have direct gulf views (there is a large cable in that view, but it isn't a deal breaker). The house is on a great beach and close driving distance to town. The decor was cute and beachy. The house was clean except the shower (but we re-cleaned it and it was fine). The beds were very comfortable. It had a large patio, living room and kitchen. Cons: Although the house is super cute, it could use some maintenance - especially the soft spots in the floors that has cracked the laminate flooring and the bathrooms need an update. There is a full bath and a half bath. Both are small. For just hanging at the beach that is fine, but if you need to get ready for an evening out or an event it's a little difficult as the bathrooms only have pedestal sinks and no space for makeup, toiletries, etc. All the kitchen items in the cabinets need to be re-cleaned and streamlined. It's a huge mishmash of dishes. Although we didn't use them, there is a washer and dryer downstairs. There is central a/c and a ductless a/c has been added which was quite chilly. This house is good for couples or a family with 1-4 kids. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would possibly rent this house again.

Star by the beach

We stayed for one week. The location is awesome, the house is older. What really bothers me is the floor, because I’m a senior citizen I had too maneuver when I exit the main bedroom. In the beginning I almost tripped a couple of times. It’s a very big issue. The other thing is the house has to get sprayed for bugs. I encountered some very big cockroaches. If these problems would be fixed this a very nice property, it is older. There was no hot water in the kitchen sink and we couldn’t turn on the dishwasher. The location was perfect.
