The house is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. When we first arrived, the digital door lock was not working, but luckily, there is a key in a lock box on the property. The house smelled like cigarette smoke when we entered, despite being a non-smoking property. The unobstructed view of the gulf is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked, except for skillets. There is only one very small nonstick skillet, and another skillet in the cabinet was dirty with cooked, stuck on egg from another guest. The beds are generally comfortable. We would have appreciated an extra blanket or two. Having the fireplace was very nice. The icemaker and the Keurig coffee maker didn’t work, which was a little bit of an inconvenience that required two separate trips back to the grocery store. The shower and water pressure are good. No counter space or drawer space in the bathrooms. We appreciated the puzzles and games in the closet, although we tried two different puzzles and they were missing so many pieces, they could not be completed so fair warning on the puzzles! :) the smart TV allows guests to login to Netflix, etc with their own accounts, but the local network channels are not available. This normally would not be a big deal, but we were hoping to watch football over the Thanksgiving weekend. We eventually figured out how to stream from our phone to the TV to watch the games, but not really convenient. Overall, it was a nice stay… Just a few details that need to be attended to.
