Landon's Lookout – Colorful Family Retreat, 1 Mile from the Beach!
Bring the family to Landon's Lookout, a bright and cheerful two-story home in mid-town Galveston! With sleeping for 8, a large fenced yard, and off-street parking, this retreat is perfect for making beach memories together.
Inside, you'll find pops of color and a welcoming layout. Upstairs features the main living area with TV, a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, and a queen bedroom with en suite bath. Downstairs offers a cozy den with futon, a second bedroom with queen + twin trundle, and another full bath with laundry.
🌊 Location, location! Just 1 mile from the beach and Seawall Boulevard, you're minutes from Galveston favorites like Pleasure Pier, Moody Mansion, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, and plenty of local restaurants.
💡 Comfort Note: This home is equipped with window A/C units and space heaters (not central air/heat).. GVR14331

HOUSE RULES:

Vendors have access to the homes on their scheduled day. Service days have the possibility of changing.
A laundry bag will be dropped off 1-2 days prior to departure. No need to worry, please leave it where it has been placed.
This rental property is not used for Nuisance Parties or Unlawful Gatherings. 6 adult maximum plus their dependent children are allowed at the property.
For your safety and security, there may be public-facing cameras installed on the property.
Minimum age to book is 25
Allows TWO pets with additional $100 non-refundable pet fee each
NO Smoking
Quiet hours 9 pm-9 am.
Pack Play and Highchairs are available for rent - $40 each + tax
Unauthorized late check-out will incur a penalty of $150 + tax
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please reach out 1–2 days prior to check-in to inquire about pricing and availability.

Please note: Upon booking, guests are required to complete a rental agreement, which will be sent via a secure link. Check-in instructions will only be provided after the agreement is completed.

Please note our policy for items left behind:
We are happy to help return items left behind; however, due to logistics and the time required for our team to retrieve and drop off packages, a $25 handling fee plus the cost of shipping will be applied to any items sent back.
We'd much rather you have your belongings with you! Thank you for doing a final "sweep" of the home before you depart.

Upon arrival the house was stuffy and hot. The window units were not turned on in the house which o. TEXAS HEAT IS UNHEARD OF. After rushing to put our bags down to head out to the event we were attending we did a quick walk thru and noticed the matress had urine stains, the bahtub was peeling and the shower stall down stairs wreaked of urine! The house was very unsanitary and in my opinion should not ha e been rented in that condition. The house was supposed to have been progessionally cleaned amd inspected prior to our arrival and it was not. We left for our event and sought out other reservations for the night. We have contacted the Property Management company for a refund but have not heard back from the most recent correspondence.

House has no central ac and only two window units. One unit is upstairs one is downstairs. These units allowed outside air inside, had no real filters and were inadequate. Additionally, the first thing I saw upon opening the door was a very large, thankfully dead, roach. Also, the downstairs bathroom has a raised toilet that was almost impossible for my Special daughter to get onto.

Spring Break

We enjoyed the house and our stay. The beds were comfy and the tiny dishwasher was a hit. We are very grateful there was an actual key to the door to get into the property, as the keypad was not working. The first time it was my fault, as I was typing in the wrong number. But even after typing in the code we were sent via, it would not let us in. My stepdaughter found the key and it made the entire process so much easier. The button to lock the door on the keypad did work, however. The driveway is narrow and our car fit, but if you have a big truck/dually you would not be able to get in/out. Overall, great place!

Bit Above Average?

If you're a light sleeper a neighbors dog that barks at various times throughout "quiet" hours may be a concern. No need to start the dishwashers upon departure as there isn't one. Kind of a "split" distance between the seawall and the Strand.

Charming home

This property is located in galveston Island. It was great for our family. Small yet charming. Easy to clean. Make sure you bring your own kitchen items as this property is pretty limited on its kitchen items (other than cups, plates, bowls, and silverware).

If my family wasn’t exhausted from the ride to Galveston I probably would’ve tried to get my money back the neighborhood is run down The house itself need to be cleaned thoroughly it’s just not worth the price I would’ve loved to see a street view before booking
