The living area is designed for relaxation, featuring comfy furnishings and tasteful decor in soothing coastal hues. Cute house not far from the water. Streaming services never worked and there were no wash cloths. The air conditioner stopped working one afternoon but kicked back on before we went to sleep that night, thank God.

This house was very well maintained, and the neighborhood is excellent. It's a bit more of a drive into Galveston than some other options, but nothing that prevented us from doing what we came to do! The lack of cable TV was a bit of a letdown, especially since a storm knocked out the internet streaming options as well — but the owners were very accommodating in that regard and they compensated us for the inconvenience. They responded to every message that we sent. The only real complaint (and not the owners' fault) is the MOSQUITOS. I thought they were bad back home, but we were not prepared for the size, quantity, and aggression of these insects. The area is low-lying so even the lovely lawn is just a marshy breeding ground. Bring plenty of bug spray!!
