With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and accommodations for up to 6 guests—including your dogs—this coastal retreat is ideal for small families or couples looking for a laid-back Gulf Coast getaway just a short stroll from the sand.

Only two blocks from the beach, Daydreamer offers refreshing sea breezes and partial Gulf views right from the deck. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening glass of wine on the covered and uncovered deck space designed for relaxation. And yes—your pups can join the fun! This home welcomes up to two dogs.

Inside, the open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a bright and inviting space to gather. While this home doesn’t have a dishwasher, it’s well-equipped for simple meals and casual beach days. A full futon in the living room offers extra sleeping space, while the primary bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom includes a daybed with a twin trundle—perfect for kids.

Daydreamer Getaway

This is our second time to stay at the Daydreamer. We love the view and the short walk to the water. The location has all amenities you need. We especially like the outdoor shower and the downstairs shower. We could scrub our pup after playing in the ocean! This location is perfect for a couple or small family. Our only suggestion is have king bed in main bedroom.

Review of Daydreamer Beach House

This cute small beach house gave me and my wife everything we needed to be comfortable. It is well appointed with all the conveniences we needed. Very well put together! And Pirates Beach is the best beach in Galveston! We are definitely going back!

Great location for a cute house

We strolled a few minutes to the beach from this small but well appointed house. It had everything we needed for a great Memorial weekend. We hope to be back again soon!

A great locatio...for winter only

Beautiful small two bedroom house with the view of the ocean. Just lovely. Just one thing: there is no window insulation or heat blocking on the south and west sides where the bedroom windows are and it got so hot, A/C could not keep up with the heat. Completely improper window coverings let all the sunlight and heat come in to the bedrooms. Everything else was just wonderful.

Ladies Vacation

The two of us selected this property because of its proximity to the beach and a dog friendly rental. The description is accurate and in addition they had puzzles, games, and books to help us pass the time on our rainy days. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and they had an outdoor shower and second shower and restroom in the ground level laundry area for any extra beach clean up. Any issues we had were addressed by property management right away. Quaint beach house and we would stay again.

Cute Little Beach Getaway

Perfect spot for my husband, myself and our little puppies. Close enough to the beach to visit several times a day. Close enough to downtown to pick up great food. Clean and cute!

Very Comfortable and Cute!

Overall impression is that the house was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the community is quite and quaint. The only problem was that the mattress for the sofa bed isn't for sleeping. The mattress needs to be replaced. No one could sleep on it. My son went to a hotel. the futon was slept well. There should be safety bars in the shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will return!

Great Location

Overall a great stay. We stayed prior to peak time so we often had the beach to ourselves. Just a short walk to the beach. The house was peaceful. There were a few minor things that need attention, but I would stay there again.

Short walk to the beach. Nice beach area. Outside shower is perfect. Glad they had a grill.... make sure to use fans at night to circulate the ac. Gets a little stagnant at night.

Great girls trip spot

My best friend and I spent 3 nights here and loved it! Roomy, clean, and comfortable. Great views of the beach, comfortable beds, and a great kitchen table to play games and share delicious meals. Highly recommend.
