Water view. Charming 1 bedroom 1 bath cabin with full kitchen and washer/dryer in San Leon, TX. Includes a queen size bed in bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in living room. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Tile floors throughout. Includes covered parking for 2 cars below the unit.

It was the perfect size for 2 people

Overall, we liked our stay at this house. It was clean, and the perfect size for 2 people. Traveling to a new state, it’s important to feel safe in the place you’re staying, and we felt safe with the 3 deadbolt locks that they have installed on the door!

The home is clean and nice beside the stranger/security watching you across the street. There’s no WiFi or cable. There was a mixed up with my booking dates a few hours before I got there which was concerning since we had to travel 5 hours to get there. Then manager Katherine told me that access will be given at 4pm when check in and she will text me information. We arrived about 15-20 mins earlier but still didn’t get access. Then 10 mins before 4pm there was a truck that passed by a few times and stopped across the street looking at us. I decided to call the manager for access so we didn’t look weird sitting at someone’s house. She said she had sent me everything but went to wrong number. Finally gave me access. We stayed there 3 nights and saw the same truck across the street parking facing the house watching a few more times. We were there on a fishing trip so hardly there. On the last night we came back at 2am and there was the same truck waiting across the street. And no one was in the 5 other units or any parties. Not sure why you need a close watch.

New & comfortable rental property

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it is brand new and very comfortable. It is about a 10 min drive to Kemah and 20 min drive to Galveston. It is not within walking distance of any beaches, but great place for the price!
