Things to Know

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

1. Place needs some love - missing handles in some rooms, no outdoor furniture to enjoy the patio, no beach accessories, no enough kitchen utensils.2. It was difficult to figure out how to use community pool.3. Bunk room smelled wet the whole stay.

Unsafe and Misrepresented – Would Not Recommend

I am sharing this review to help others make an informed decision before booking. Our family, including relatives from both in and out of state, gathered at this home to celebrate a special milestone. Unfortunately, what we experienced was the opposite of what was advertised. The attic-level bunk room had a moldy odor, and visible mold was found above the door, which felt damp to the touch. Guests began experiencing respiratory issues and had to be relocated to sleep on the couch and recliners located downstairs. The downstairs half-bathroom also showed visible signs of mold near the ceiling vent. Multiple steps on the staircase were loose or raised, and a family member fell, which was deeply distressing. The bedding in the downstairs bedroom was in poor condition. The comforter had a dry bloodstain, and although the sheets had clearly been laundered, they still showed brown-tinted bloodstains. We rewashed them, but the stains remained. There were also visible water stains around ceiling vents. Ceiling fans in most bedrooms did not work, the garbage disposal was inoperable until a family member fixed it, and the provided coffee was an open, used container, which felt especially inappropriate in a post-COVID era. Support from the local host was very slow. While we would not recommend this property in its current condition, we are truly grateful for the assistance we received from both Vrbo and Vacasa, who worked together to help us relocate.
Several stair planks were already loose or separating, creating a safety hazard. After one family member slipped on a raised plank, a stair plank completely detached, making the fall both dangerous and distressing.
The downstairs bedroom had a bed frame without a box spring, which caused a wavy pattern in the mattress. The bed was extremely low to the ground, very uncomfortable, and unsuitable for sleeping.
Mold was visible above the door in the attic-level bedroom. The door and doorknob felt damp to the touch, confirming moisture in the area.
Mold growth clearly visible above the vent in the half-bathroom on the main level, indicating poor ventilation and lack of proper cleaning.
