Pointe West is a stunning resort on the west end of Galveston Island. The resort boosts a heated lazy river pool with a large fire pit and charcoal grill on the bay side where you can bring your own food and drinks. A 6 minute walk from the condo will take you to the beach club on the ocean side where you will find a private restaurant, large pool ,hot tub, gym, game room with pool table, and bike rentals. You could rent a bike there and head back to the bay side to explore the many bird trails or pedal along the water's edge. There is an unobstructed view of the bird estuary from the living room balcony. The condo has been recently renovated with vinyl plank flooring and upscale furnishings. The master bedroom has a private balcony with a water view and an ensuite bath with walk in shower. Beach themed decor and a large balcony off living/dining room with comfortable seating for dining or enjoying the tranquil water views and amazing sunsets. We provide everything you need to make your vacation fun and relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen with even a waffle maker and indoor/outdoor electric grill, linens, towels, beach towels, beach toys including four large inner tubes for the lazy river pool. Full sized washer and dryer. Free wi-fi and one assigned garage parking stall. You can kayak or paddle board right outside the front door and rentals can be arranged. There is a charcoal grill next to the condo and an outdoor fire pit is steps away for making s'mores and watching the sunsets. No sounds of traffic here - only the swaying palms and gentle breeze from the bay at Buddy's Baywater Villa.

Pointe West Beach Club charges a resort fee of $25 pp per stay for anyone over the age of 4 years old. This charge is payable to the club upon check-in (no cash accepted) and it covers both pools and most amenities.

Everything was as expected! Enough room for 2 families, great location, amenities at the resort were perfect! You never have to leave the resort if you don’t want to! It has it all. :) We will stay here again the next time we come to Galveston!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Buddy's! It was more spacious than what I imagined for us (6 adults, 1 toddler) and the location was great. Far enough to relax but not too far of a drive to explore the rest of Galveston! Sunsets were beautiful during our stay! Would definitely recommend!

Clean and everything you need to relax at the beach. It is a nice property that worked well for my family of five and the family dog. The pools were nice, and it was a bit of a walk to the beach. But once at the beach, there is a nice uncrowded family beach to enjoy.

Great condo with great view! Owner Gayle answered every question via text promptly. If u want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston seawall this is the place. Just know it’s a long way from most restaurants and stores. Other than that it’s perfect!!

First time further down the sea wall. Escape the crowds at the sea wall and enjoy both beach and bay access with 2 pools lazy river and incredible sunsets enjoyed while eating somores from the fire pit. Added benefit was kayak availability, bay fishing, rental bicycles available at beach club.

My husband and I are retired military and live in Atlanta. Our youngest son, wife and Twin three year old sons live near Houston. We were thrilled to spend time with them at the beach. The condo was so nice. The view of the bay was beautiful. The beach and Lazy pool were a hit for the twins. The whole experience was delightful.

Fabulous weekend; lots of wonderful memories; “icing on the cake” was the beautiful condo and Pointe West facility! Oh! Beach was awesome! It wasn’t the white sandy beach or clear water of Florida but it was one of the highlights of the trip! Thanks to Gayle, the owner, for the opportunity to have this special celebration in a special environment!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Buddy’s Bayside Villa and will definitely be back. The owner was wonderful to work and communicate with! The property was perfect for my mother, two 13-year olds, and my husband and me. We all had our own spaces and both indoor and outdoor living options were comfy and clean.

This condo is beautiful inside with awesome views of the bay and sunsets from the patio. We loved going to the Beach Club and being able to enter the private beach from the club. The lazy River pool was also great in the evenings and had an awesome place to BBQ. The owner, Gayle met us when we arrived to make sure everything was in working order and answer any questions. Can’t say enough about her hospitality😎
