Walk to the beach or the Pointe West Beach Club or relax on the large balcony with an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico the choice will be yours at "La Belle View." This newly owned and decorated condominium is spacious and comfortable for a perfect weekend getaway or a relaxing week at the beach. The unit is comfortable for a couples vacation or a family vacation. High speed WIFI and HD television is available in this unit.
The large living room looks out towards the Gulf of Mexico and has French doors that lead to a large balcony with plenty of seating for everyone. The couch pulls out to a queen sleeper to accommodate additional guests. The kitchen has full size appliances, dishes, cookware and everything you will need if you decide to cook any meals in during your stay at Pointe West. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a view of the water and access to the large balcony. It has a large private bath and a walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a full size bath beside the entrance to the room. There is also a brand new full size stacked washer dryer to rinse all the sand off your clothes after a day at the beach for your use in this unit.
When you stay in a Bay to Beach Rental Property, all you need to bring is your clothes, beach towels/chairs, sun screen, food and you! We provide paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, fabric softener sheets, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, shampoo, body wash, and basic spices in each unit.

Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean, groomed regularly and closed to vehicular traffic. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers and a game room. The Sunset Pool on the bayside has a small lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills for the guests use during their stay. Enjoy the pool bar and restaurant, Smore's by the Sunset Pool, kid's crafts, Dive-in Movies and live entertainment. (We will send you the activity schedule upon booking your vacation or you can check the Pointe West Beach Club website for times/dates).

Galf carts, kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent from local island vendors. Please ask us we have information on these items and other things you may want to rent when visiting Pointe West.

You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston(The Strande), Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and all the other great attractions of Galveston. Major grocery stores are located 20 minutes away so we recommend guests stop on their way in so they never have to leave their vacation getaway!

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Overall, the stay was really good. The condo was really well decorated and stocked. They even set aside coffee, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, they even supplied body wash and shampoo! Kitchen was well stocked to cook meals as well. The only thing I didn’t like, which has nothing to do with the owner, nor could they fix it, the unit is very close to the road, so vehicle noise was sometimes an issue at night. But that’s it. The clubhouse and the beach are very close. I would love to book with Linda and Mary Alice again.

Wonderful place

This condo was wonderful fornour family of 5. They had everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable furniture and beds. We love the beach club access and easy access to the beach! We cant wait to go back!

Fun location, bad experience

The first night we were there I walked into the kitchen at night time to get a snack and found cockroaches crawling all over the floor. I smashed at least 5 of them. Then we noticed smashed roaches on the floor by the rug in the main room that were there already when we arrived. We continued to see roaches here and there throughout our stay. We did contact the property manager who was always very responsive and they sent out an exterminator who arrived about 36 hours later Of course the roaches don’t instantly die so it continued to be a problem throughout our stay. We saw them on the floors, drawers, cabinets, and on the walls of the bathrooms. There was also broken glass out on the deck. We picked most of it up ourselves but missed some and I got a sliver of glass in my toe. The place had potential to be great but the roaches really ruined it for us. We didn’t spend that much money to live in a roach infested place for 5 days. I requested a partial refund from the property manager who refused and told us they could have moved us to a different unit if we asked but we didn’t even know that was an option and it was never offered to us. If it wasn’t for the roaches it would have been a great stay but unfortunately that is how it went.

Had a great time at Galveston! Linda & MaryAlice are wonderful at responding to any questions you have and they keep their place clean and updated! AC works fabulous, something you love to feel after a full day at the beach! They very kindly leave a basket full of little things you don’t think of bringing to the beach like laundry & dishwasher pods (and lots more) :D! The condo is a few steps farther to the beach than other condos at Pointe West beach club with a beautiful view! Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Condo with Stunning View

We will definitely book again. Very clean condo with well stocked kitchen. We saved so much money by cooking in. Having such a great space was amazing visiting our daughter, son in law and newest grandson. He loved the lazy river and kiddie pool!

Perfect Beach Escape

My family and I came for a last minute trip to the beach and this condo was the perfect escape. Not only was the communication quick and seamless, but the condo is also exactly as listed. Fully stocked kitchen, welcome basket/extra supplies for the visit, and a quick walk from the condo to the beach access bridge. You will have great views from the patio and we never heard the neighbors. Thank you, Linda & Mary Alice, for a great stay!

Perfect!!!

This was such a fun place to stay. The condo was spacious and pristine with all the amenities we needed, huge balcony with a great view, comfy beds, and the elevator and parking were so convenient. We love the option of swimming in the pool overlooking the beach, and we really loved swimming in the pool at night. Make sure you check out the West End Marina for delicious brunch, lunch or dinner. :)
