Important Details for Your Stay
▸Construction Notice: A small, front-of-complex construction project may cause noise on weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM. All construction stops by 5 PM.
▸Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly! Please inform us of the type and weight of your dog(s) for approval. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 plus tax applies for up to two dogs, each weighing 35 pounds or less. Failure to pay the pet fee is a violation of our house rules and may result in a canceled reservation without a refund.
▸Parking: On-site covered and uncovered parking is available for a fee of $10.00 per car, per day, plus tax. The office does not accept cash. Parking fees are capped at $70.00 for stays up to 30 days. Trailers are permitted during special event weekends for the same rate as cars.

Great location

Although the property is in renovation the pools and condo were up to date. View from condo was great and so many things were within walking distance. Condo had nice touches like extra drawers and hanging spots.

We had a great time. Room was clean, pools were clean. Beds were super comfortable. They even have soap,shampoo/conditioner for you to use. It was the perfect size for a family of 5, with littles. Response time was fast when asking a question. Beautiful view of the ocean! Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

This beach condo exceeded all our expectations! The location was unbeatable—just steps from the sand with stunning ocean views from the balcony. The interior was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy, and we appreciated the extra touches like beach chairs and games. Communication with the host was easy and professional. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free beach vacation!

Fun at the beach

On the plus side - the condo was five star - everything was in great shape, spotlessly clean and nice decor. The property manager (Donna) could not have been more helpful - efficient and pleasant - she handled a minor problem immediately . The maintenance worker who fixed the problem was also efficient and handled things very professionally. On the negative side the overall appearance of the facility (which is under renovation) was deplorable. One working elevator that was badly rusted and looked to be on its last legs, front of the building looked like it was being demolished, shabby appearance of the external units - it looked like the renovation had started about three years later than it should have. The pool area that was almost finished did look nice, so maybe when they finish the reno all will be well!! If you do choose to stay don't be put off by the initial appearance when you first arrive - ask for unit 322 - it's lovely

Cozy, clean and convenient

We stayed here over the weekend and couldn’t be happier about it. This place has a fantastic view and easy access to the beach, restaurants and attractions. Check-in and out instructions were very clear and easy. We’ve found our perfect place to stay for future trips!

Beautiful location, the apartment was clean and very nice. The grounds and area is a little run down but it look likes they are doing upgrades to the facility. Definitely would stay there again.

Great family spring break trip

We came at a great time, just past the big Texas Spring Break weeks so things weren’t crowded at all! The condo uint had just about everything we needed. A table on the balcony would have been nice. We did have an issue when the management company had to shut off the water to the whole complex due to a water leak from another unit somewhere else in the complex. It was out for several hours. The owner informed us right away. This was the only hiccup in our stay. The pools were great! The kids loved the heated pool. The beach view from the unit is great! Playing frogged across the road to get to the beach was a bit tough at times. You can walk down about a half a mile to the light if you want. This was our first trip to Galveston, we would love to visit again!

Very Nice

The condo itself was wonderful. However, the complex is going through a much-needed facelift / construction project which closed off some of the amenities. Donna advised us of the construction prior to our arrival. I was fine with some of the pools being closed along with the workout area and front office. I will admit I was taken aback about how big the project actually was. Access to the parking area is now off of a side-street prior to the main entrance which is gated off. A bit hard to see as signage is poor. All that being said, the unit itself was excellent! Very clean and well taken care of. A couple of suggestions: 1) A small table on the balcony would be a nice add-on.2) Batteries are getting low on the streaming remotes.3) Thin cabinet next to the fridge has some expired muffin mix, coffee, etc and should probably be gone through.Long story short, condo great, complex will probably be beautiful in late spring / early summer 2025.

Excellent Host

Our stay at Ocean Sunrise was excellent. The host goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible and could not have done a better job. Check in was seamless, listing was as advertised and the condo had everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again if vacationing in Galveston.

Maravilla Resort Failure - Don't Book till Spring 2025. Location and Condo Just OK

I will begin with how it ended: We left early and didn't even use one night stay due to construction at the condo complex. We were told of amenity closures after our last deposit was due and that the Marriott property next door could be used as an alternate. We were not able to cancel without losing a significant portion of our paid monies. When we got to the complex/condo, the construction equipment vibrated the condo noticeably all day, and on our first morning there, lawn blowers were noisily prepping for exterior paint. Only two elevators were working. Enjoying the balcony was not possible due to jack hammers/construction equipment making noise. We were told by the front office construction would be completed Spring 2025. When we got the second notification one day before our check-in that the workout room would not be available, we spoke to the HOA Member owner and asked if we could be released from our rental agreement because the convenience of the amenities was no longer available as advertised. We were told no, and she only refunded us the pet deposit (19% of our overall charge). The condo itself was decorated like the pictures. Key items to note: There isn't seating for four people to eat at the kitchen counter, so one family member was always standing for meal time. Sheets/towels are not white so I wondered if they were clean. No beach towels were provided for use in the pools (not an issue since only the heated pool was available during our stay).

Fall Break Trip

Donna is an awesome host! She reached out to me before I had too! The condo is awesome. I’ve been coming to Galveston for 50 years this is probably the cleanest and best equipped I’ve ever stayed in. Very comfy furniture, and a great mattress. Great Location

Sunrise condo

The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay for two days .. when arriving the outer appearance of the property was not very pleasing but once in the condo it was very nicely done and clean and the sunrise view from the balcony is absolutely amazing...grounds definitely need updated the hot tub could use a upgrade for sure

Donna was very thorough from beginning to end in making sure we were ready for our vacation. She sent emails of things to do- was very helpful during our stay when we had questions- her customer service was top notch! And I’m positive that any place to stay with her would be a great experience!

Great View and Location!

Our family booked a quick stay at Ocean Sunrise. The complex was a bit dated but the condo was great and came with everything we needed. Donna was great about communicating the weather updates with us during Hurricane Beryl.

Perfect weekend getaway

Charming little condo unit with fantastic views and great pools. Walking distance to the beach and attractions. King bed was excellent. Kitchen was nicely stocked for a long weekend visit. Would stay again.
