4 bedrooms and 3 full baths to accommodate everyone. Master bedroom has queen size bed, oversized bathroom, walk in shower. 2 guest bedrooms have queen beds, 4th bedroom has full size futon and twin over full bunk beds. Living sofa has queen size pull out bed. Full sized washer and dryer. Sleeps 13

This home's wide open floor plan with high ceilings was made for entertaining. Enjoy a fabulous water view from each entertaining space. Expansive covered/uncovered South-facing deck reveals panoramic beach views. Wake up to Gulf views from the Master en-suite featuring deck access. Access to Terramar's pool, water front pavilion, boat ramp & slips.

We also allow access to the Shipt account that has free deliveries from Kroger, Office Depot, Target, and CVS. Don't waste your trip running to the store. They will bring it all to you.

Kitchen accessories include blender, coffee pot, full cooking set up.

Outdoor space has charcoal grill, lounge chairs, and an outdoor shower.

Wifi, TV, plenty of games and toys. Beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards are stored in the downstairs storage and ready for use.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the well-stocked Bare Feet Retreat with the amazing deck, views, nice furniture, and comfy beds. It’s probably one of the nicest places we’ve found waterfront in the Galveston area. We especially liked being centered in the private beach area, which was really quiet during our Oct. stay. If we could change one thing, we’d widen the lengthy beach access path so we don’t brush against the plants as we walk down with gear.

Beach view was beautiful. Carpet needs to be updated. Utensils and kitchenware could also use updating. Loved the balcony view and outdoor furniture. Needed umbrella for morning and afternoon sun on the deck. All in all good stay!

Stay at Barefeet Retreat in Galveston in late September, 2025We had a delightful 3 night, 4 day stay at Vrbo’s “Barefeet Retreat" in Galveston in late September. The 4 bedroom, 3 bath beach front house was very comfortable, very well appointed and had all the features that made a great stay for us. The house is laid out perfectly for an enjoyable visit with a large, open living room/kitchen area and we loved the fabulous Guif views through large water facing windows. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed and the handiness of the power lift was greatly appreciated versus lugging luggage up and down the stairs! We were all of 50 yards and two minute walks from the water - it’s a non vehicle stretch of beach which made it great for leisurely walks and just gazing at and listening to the waves crashing on the shore. Our small Yorkshire Terrier loved walking on the beach with us. We’d love to return and bring our family and/or friends on our next trip. DAC/MLC

Our stay was nice check in was easy the house was really great with the big windows and amazing deck area and the beach supplies that were there for us to use the only thing that was a little discomforting was the master bedroom was pretty hot and felt like there was no air flow when the windows were closed and some of the dishes weren't cleaned properly prior to us getting there but above all it was a very relaxing and calm environment (beware of rattle snakes it is in their territory)

Overall a fantastic stay. Huge house. We were able to spread out with plenty of extra room! I can see a group of as many as 6 to 8 easily feeling comfortable in this house.Outdoor space is expansive with front balcony, excellent back balcony, lots of comfortable seating, and space below is unbeatable! The it is covered offering respite from the sun. The direct path to the beach is beyond easy and the beach is right there! primary reason To stay here! The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, & utensils…plenty of space and modern appliances to prepare anything you need. The views from living room, kitchen, dining room, & master bedroom are amazing.A couple items that held this wonderful place from a perfect rating. First…the A/C worked well in all rooms except the master bedroom…and that was a double issue…it didn’t cool down in the room over our 4 day stay…even with ceiling fan and two table top fans running…so we didn’t dare open the blinds on the windows…which would’ve been an amazing view! We luckily found a couple fans to set up but even with three fans running it was warm at night. This was a daily reminder that it was not a perfect stay. The other item was the grill. Despite explicit instructions to clean the grill…I found the grill burned and full of ashes…I fortunately found a smaller grill that was cleaner. It was less convenient and disappointing though. Again, GREAT place with just a couple minor faults…you won’t have a bad time!
