Hummingbird Hideaway is a colorful modern cottage tucked away in the scenic mountains of Germania, PA. This getaway is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet or for those looking for outdoor adventure. Conveniently located on ATV and snowmobile trails with no need to trailer anywhere. Surrounded by 5 State Parks and 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Enjoy hiking, biking, stargazing, fishing, hunting, paddling, bird watching and more.

The cottage boasts spacious living, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, dining and kitchen areas. There is a wrap around deck with grill and outdoor dining furniture as well as a balcony perfect for those that want special views of the nigh time sky.

Dark sky
Love the property, location was great, easy to navigate to all state parks in the area. Kitchen had just about everything you need. Tea pot would have been nice, and the knives need to be sharpened. Also the a little more information before arrival the garage Loft is an additional rental. Not a problem but knowing before one arrives would be nice. Do not mind doing some housekeeping before you leave, however asking to do a load of laundry before you leave I think should not be necessary when charging a housekeeping fee. Host very pleasant and easy to contact. The property is very clean, beds are very comfortable, bed linens, blankets and pillows were great. We all had great night sleeps. Pricing is perfect. Would definitely recommend and return.

Beautiful, quiet, remote mountain home
Unique and beautiful home located in the Pennsylvania mountains. Surrounded by numerous state parks and Pine Creek Gorge/PA Grand Canyon . Great area for biking, hiking, etc. The home is exactly as advertised and has everything you need. The host was helpful and assessable. If you ride ATVs, that is permitted just about everywhere. The area is beautiful and wildlife abounds. Very relaxing environment.

Great spot to bring the ATVs and relax
Booked this beautiful home for the holiday weekend. We brought our ATVs and had easy parking and easy access to the ATV trails. House is super cool and an open floor plan. You are back a nice long lane but still close to the village of Germania. House is equipped with anything you may need. We will be back!

Secluded and comfortable
The house is clean, comfortable, and fun. The owner is lovely and very easy to communicate with both before and during the visit. I especially appreciated a photobook they created with check-in, info, and check-out instructions. The grounds are beautiful and are close to the "Grand Canyon" of PA. The house has all you need for a restful getaway. Note: Because it is pretty far out, the internet service is a little spotty, so if you are planning on any remote work, you may need to use a hotspot. I hope to return in clear weather to visit the Cherry Springs Dark Park.

What a GEM!
This place is just what it looks like in the listing: a clean, comfortable, hideaway in the woods with eclectic, contemporary style! It has lots of places to be together or alone with a book, inside or out. The kitchen has everything--definitely not just a mac and cheese kitchen. The host was easily accessible, helpful, and accommodating. If this sounds like what you're looking for, just add it to your favorites now.
