Camp Sycamore located in Germania

Newly renovated with a modern style and spacious floorplan. Conveniently located in the village of Germania-1/2 mile to the Germania store, walking distance to the Trails End at the Waldheim Restaurant.
Located on a township road connecting to the property to access ATV and snowmobile trails.
Located a short drive to Lyman Lake PA, the Pa Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rail Trail, and Cherry Springs Park.

The property is perfect for stargazing from the patio or take a short 15 min drive to Cherry Springs Park and enjoy your ultimate stargazing experience. Cherry Springs is known to have the darkest skies in the Eastern United States.

The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full-size bathrooms.
The first floor has a bedroom with a king-size bed and a full-size bathroom. Enjoy the open floor plan with a modern kitchen with all the cooking amenities you may need to enjoy cooking at home. A family room with a large sofa and a 65 in. Roku TV.

The second floor features 2 additional bedrooms and a full-size bathroom.

A large patio sits in the back of the home with a patio set and a large table to enjoy your meals outdoors. A gas grill is also available.
Enjoy the firepit area located on the property (bring your own firewood)

A large grassy area is perfect for sledding in the water.

There is an oversized 2-car garage on the property that is available for your ATVs and snowmobiles.

This was a return visit for me, and a first for my husband. We came to the area to reminisce past times spent hunting and with family in the Wellsboro/Galeton area and enjoy a fall get-away. While Camp Sycamore is perfect for a couple, the second floor offers plenty of space for additional family or friends. It is clean, very tastefully decorated, and cozy. It is easy to feel right at home. Since our time spent there was cloudy and rainy, I guess we will have to come again if we want to see the stars in the dark sky!! We would return in a minute!

We came here for Germania Old Home Day as our normal place we stay had a lot of people and we wanted to do our own thing. It was a perfect location to the store, Old Home Day event, and even right by our other camp we visit. With two different couples, we had plenty of space and loved the two bathrooms. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch or back porch in the mornings. It was just great all around. Thank you for the stay!

Great Family Getaway

Nice place to stay the weekend and enjoy the night sky. Very clean and in a great location to visit the state parks. We enjoyed many trails and the night sky in all directions. Everything was between 15-35 mins in each direction. Would highly recommend.

Peace and quiet.

If you're looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway with some star gazing thrown in, this place is for you. We had a great stay away from our busy lives. Also, Galeton is a great little town with very friendly people.

Starry Skies Galore

Absolutely amazing place! Clean, beautifully adorned, comfy cozy. Great location for star gazing and day time adventures to scenic areas such ad Kinzua Bridge state park, Austin Dam Ruins and PA Grand Canyon. Lovely :)
