We enjoyed our room immensely! It was very clean, the beds were soft, and the bathroom was divine. All the details of the room were perfect. We enjoyed our time on the porch outside of our room and we were right in the middle of the Main Street, so very close to everything. Parking was also very convenient. Communication with the manager was very easy and we have decided that this is the place to stay each time we decide to stay in Galena. We were very impressed!

Rarely are places even better than pictures, but that's the case with Ulysses Suite 204. My husband and I were blown away. Joan has anticipated and executed every detail a guest could want: gorgeous decor, perfect location, beautiful lobby with sparkling water on tap and umbrellas for our rainy morning, a dreamy bathroom, a Fellows tea pot for our tea and coffee, a bed and bedding that slept wonderfully, and on and on. And to walk downstairs for a fantastic cappuccino and pastry at Bread & Vine each morning was icing on the cake. We started our week road trip in Galena with two nights at Ulysses, and it set the bar so high that nothing else compared all week. Perfection.

Absolutely as described. The property was clean, and not just the room but the guest common room as well. We seriously could not have had a better time here. The Ulysses Suites were our home base for the weekend and the location was perfect. We parked our car in one of the spaces for the suites and never went back to the car the whole weekend. Everything really was in walking distance which was a huge plus. The bath salts, coffee, and other amenities were a nice perk. My wife and I had been talking about going to Galena for years and finally decided it was time and would be the perfect place to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. I really can’t stress enough how perfect the Ulysses Suites were. You get exactly what is advertised. It was a beautiful time filled with history, shopping, and great coffee and food! Thank you!!
