Secluded Country Dream with all the Fun!

Updated Decor and Furnishings!! You'll make lasting memories in our newly appointed stylish retreat located in The Galena Territories!

Whether you come to Galena to shop, ski, golf or just soak up the sun, Owl's Stay has all the essentials needed to relax, have fun, and spread out with your loved ones. And you won't believe the serenity in this backyard with 3 levels (2 large decks) to take it all in.

We're just a short ride to enjoy all The Territory Amenities!

The space

Owl's Stay is a 5 Bedroom and 5.5 Bath retreat and Galena is a perfect excuse to get away. Here you can bring the whole family, extended family, celebrate the bachelor/bachelorette, make it a couple's weekend or keep it simple with just the guys or just the gals!!

You'll find 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms (located main floor and 3 on upper level). The 5th bedroom has two queen beds and utilizes the lower level full bath down the hall.

All living and bed rooms have new flat screen SMART TV's, bring your logins or utilize our guest Amazon Prime account.

After a busy day, there's room for everyone on the large sectional to unwind.

Enjoy home cooked meals w/ 3 dining tables (in/out). We have two large empty drawers in the kitchen to store all your groceries so you can keep the counters clean. There is a double oven and an outdoor gas grill for cooking these big meals!

Head downstairs for a night of fun, challenge your group to a game of pool, ping pong, darts or a friendly game of poker!! Plenty of seats and sliding screen door to enjoy the lower level deck and the views!!

Before calling it a night, soak in the Hot Tub or gather around the Fire Pit and take time to catch up!

Other things to note

We have provided 6 Owner's Club cards; which are needed per person to enjoy the amenities and parking passes that will also needed to park at the club. You can purchase temporary guest pass at the Owner’s Club Complex for $5.

Great Stay!

I booked this for my family (8 adults and one baby) for a little family vacation. We all had such a great time and the home is beautiful! If we ever had an issue or question, Lia was very quick to reply and made sure that everything was perfect for us. We would love to stay at one of her rentals again :).

Woodsy Paradise

If you love the woods, you’ll love Owl’s Nest. It’s built into a hillside, so looking out the wall of windows - and especially from the screened in porch - you feel like you’re in a treehouse. The screened in porch was our group’s favorite spot, with a table seating 8 and protection from bugs, we spent entire days (and nights!) out there. And if you want to walk in the woods, there are paths extending from the firepit area. The trees are tall and the shade deep. We saw and heard wildlife (including owls at night), but it was mostly very quiet. We never even saw or heard any neighbors.But Owl’s Nest has more than nature. There were plenty of spaces on multiple levels for our group to spread out. The pool table room was a big hit, as was the hot tub. The media room was great for video games, and the poker room worked well for our tabletop gamers.The kitchen was well stocked and well organized. We were able to cook everything we wanted, and the double ovens came in very handy for feeding a crowd. Best of all, with so many bedrooms with attached bathrooms, the house was very comfortable for multiple couples to share.One warning I’ll share is that, because the property is on a slope, the ground around the house (especially around the firepit) is mostly uneven. We learned to watch our step everywhere to avoid trips and falls.The property was very clean, the decor tasteful, and the area beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a gathering of family and/or friends!

Wooded Winter Wonderland

10/10 experience! We could not have asked for a more comfortable home with picturesque features and incredible amenities. The house is an amazing fit for a large group, everybody slept comfortably. Located close to downtown Galena and Chestnut Mountain Resort, we found that the central location was a key factor in facilitating a convenient experience for us. Our host was incredibly thorough in providing information before we arrived, and expeditious in her responses to any questions we had during our stay. The hot tub, pool table, and fireplace provided endless entertainment and exceeded the expectations that we had for the property. A truly wonderful birthday experience and we cannot wait to come back!

Girls Weekend

We love the Galena Territory, and we loved this home! This home was exactly as described. The rooms are spacious and very clean (and we're very picky when it comes to what people consider clean). The furnishings and decor in the home are beautiful. So many items we kept saying to ourselves that I'd love in my own home. Such nice touches. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need to make meals at home and all the little extras that you don't find in most rentals these days (extra bath, bedding, and laundry supplies) were very much appreciated. Basement had plenty of entertainment to keep everyone busy with the rain, as well as heading to the Owner's Club to use the pool. Lia was extremely timely with any questions and accommodations to our schedule. Wish we lived closer but would absolutely choose to stay in Lia's home again. Mother Nature didn't exactly cooperate for our outdoor plans in downtown Galena. All the more reason why we were so grateful that our time stuck inside could be spent in a great home and in the beautiful Galena Territory.

Great Couples’ Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Owl’s Stay. The leaves were changing and we felt like we were at our own autumn hideaway. The house had all the space and amenities we needed. The fire pit is not as far from the house as it appears in the photos and was a great place to just hang out. All the couches were super cozy and the table big enough for dinners and games! We had five adult couples and spent most of our time at the house but it was a short drive to Apple picking and wine tasting as well. Lastly, the owner is very responsive and available. She will handle any issues so no worries! Book & Enjoy!

Perfect Galena Getaway for the Family!

This home was wonderful and had everything necessary to provide the family with a peaceful getaway. Nestled in a wooded, quiet and private culdesac under the starry sky, yet close enough to the territory entrance to provide convenience. Lia was incredibly attentive, friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was also very well-equipped with everything.

Everything we wanted!

A group of college friends, we get together each year to remember one we lost too soon. This house was indeed secluded and still close to activities we wanted to do. This home is a dream

We had 9 adults staying at this home for a niece's wedding in Apple River. It was perfect for our needs! The beds are comfortable, everything is as pictured, the host was responsive to texts, and the home is well located within Eagle Ridge. I highly recommend for a large group.

Wonderful Holiday Stay with large family

Booked a weekend stay for family members to gather at one location with pets to celebrate Thanksgiving. The host was gracious in preparing the home for our Thanksgiving stay with Thanksgiving decorations and dishes. The home was beautiful, clean and gave a warm cozy welcome. We enjoyed playing pool, ping-pong, darts, and the hot tub. Plenty of room for all. Enjoyed sitting down at the fire pit looking up at the stars. This was truly a great holiday experience at a beautiful home. Located to Galena shops and the Apple River for a great nature hike or fishing.

Great family fun!

house was perfect. we had 8 people there was so much room we didn’t even use one of the bedrooms. great tv room and open kitchen dining and family room. hot tub was and fire pit were a plus. great location. felt like we were in woods but close to general and entrance! everything was clean and amenities were plentiful. host was easy to contact and extremely nice!!

Perfect Getaway!

Wonderful experience from booking through checkout. The property owner is very organized and provided comprehensive info that made for a stress-free experience.
