Welcome to Partridge Place, a beautiful vacation home located in the heart of the Galena Territory. This recently updated home offers all the comforts and conveniences of a modern rental, with new finishes and updated features throughout. The home accommodates up to 10 guests with 4 bedrooms (3 Kings, 1 Queen) and a sleeper sofa in the lower level living space, each with an ensuite bathroom, providing plenty of privacy and space.

Enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding landscape from the expansive deck or screened porch. For cooler nights, gather around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing. Relax in the hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring nearby attractions. And don't forget to snap some photos at the fun selfie station!

The home features two cozy living rooms, one of which includes a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. Smart TVs are available in both living rooms and all bedrooms, but guests should bring their own logins. You'll be provided six (6) access cards for use of The Galena Territory Owners Club amenities which include hiking trails, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and more. And for the horse enthusiasts, book a trail ride with one of the horses at Shenandoah Riding Center. If you need more access cards during your stay, additional day passes can be purchased for $5 per person/day (required for those 5 years and up).

The Galena Territory and nearby areas offer a wide variety of activities year-round. Eagle Ridge Resort has four golf courses, a spa, several restaurants, a golf simulator & Nordic Center with sledding and ice skating during the winter months. Chestnut Mountain is an excellent destination for Midwest skiing, and in the warmer months, you can enjoy activities like the Alpine Slide, Screaming Eagle zipline ride, and mountain biking. Historic Downtown Galena is just 10 minutes away and offers kayaking on the Galena River, unique shopping experiences, and plenty of great restaurants to explore.

Partridge Place is a dog-friendly home with a $150 pet fee, up to 2 dogs max.

Our family of 8 enjoyed the big, beautiful house in Galena. Everything you need and want us provided, including a relaxing hot tub, fire pit and chairs, and bedrooms and bathrooms for each. Close to all the fun activities in the area. Secluded quiet and peaceful home. Host is very responsive.

Beautiful surroundings, county like setting. Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals and enjoy the company of Family. Close enough to downtown Galena which made it easy to enjoy the sights and attractions.

The house was a perfect fit for 8 gals celebrating a birthday. We loved the screened in porch and spent a lot of time relaxing and chatting while enjoying the beautiful weather. Location is great for Galena and local activities including zip lining which we highly recommend. We have already talked about returning to check out golf courses.

The house is exactly as advertised. Perfect amenities for our group of 7 adults. Enjoyed using the fire pit and the relaxing in the huge living area. Short drive to downtown Galena. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We loved our stay! We often have a hard time finding homes that have the bed and bath configuration we need for my family, sister's family and our parents. This was perfect...everyone had their own bathroom and big beds. There was enough seating for all 9 of us in the dining room and the living room. We used the grill on two of the nights and also used the firepit. We also loved the location of the house...not on a main road, but also not deep into the Territory that you feel isolated. Brian, the property manager, was very helpful with questions I had. We will definitely be back!

Property is very nice and convenient layout, lovely kitchen and open plan living room, perfect for preparing food and sharing wine on long table with family and friends. The house was exactly as pictured on the inside. It was spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 4, grandparents, and my brother in law and we could have fit more people if we needed to with the sleeper sofa. The house is a short drive to downtown Galena and we also enjoyed the amenities in Eagle Ridge. We spent our evenings playing games on the screened in patio and the hot tub. It was nice and quiet and exactly what we were looking for. We would rent here again and recommend this house for families or big groups.

The Partridge Place was great. Very clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully. We loved the location. Very quiet and peaceful outside by the house. The Galena Territory area is absolutely beautiful! Downtown Galena is really a neat place. A very historical town with lots of cool shops, wineries, restaurants. They even have trolly rides down there which we didn’t take the time to do but that looked like it would’ve been fun. Loved the historical feel of the town and all the brick buildings. Also was in close proximity to Dubuque Iowa, we checked out the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. That was a lot of fun to do with kids as well. Didn’t expect to be able to see a waterfall on our trip but we visited one of the scenic lookout spots at the Galena Territory and saw one. We really enjoyed having the option to use the Owner’s Clubhouse. The pool area was great and our kids loved it. Communication with the owner was great. I couldn’t find marshmallow roasting sticks for if we did a fire. He said he didn’t believe they had any at the house, so he was at the store, bought some, and brought them for us to use. Very kind of him to do that otherwise we would’ve had to go buy them ourselves. If you’re looking for a very nice place to stay for a weekend away, we would definitely stay here again.
