The Log House is approximately 2,600 square feet of comfort and joy.
3 levels; bedroom (queen) and bath on each level for your own space and privacy.
Main Floor: Great room -hardwood floors - vaulted wood ceiling - floor to ceiling boulder fireplace open to a sunny dining room and fully equipped kitchen with center island. Powder room and Master bedroom with whirlpool tub - separate shower.
Upper Level: Bedroom-bath-loft (great space for reading) overlooking the Great Room.
Lower Level: Gathering Room with pool table - TV. Bedroom - bath - laundry room. Patio with outdoor seating. Deck with hot tub kept hot year-round.

We had an awesome stay for new years. The house is very cozy, perfect for a winter gathering , it was decorated and had a Christmas tree which we loved! Cabin feel, but very spacious, everything you could need is provided, lots of towels, utensils, glassware , even the dinnerware was winter themed for the season. Lots of board games, downstairs with a Pac-Man video game!!! And pool table. The fireplace in the living room is gorgeous! We traveled with another family and all of us agree, great place to relax! Definitely recommended!

The home was absolutely beautiful, very cozy and in a wonderful area just 15 minutes for downtown. The hosts were very polite, very communicative and accommodating allowing us to check in earlier than expected, I would highly recommend this rental.

This is the second time I stayed at the cabin, but first time with friends. The interior is beautiful and has plenty of amenities, even some spices and foil. Everything was great. I would recommend bringing a fan if you stay in the upstairs bedroom (the box fan helped but it was still a little warm). The hot tub was relaxing and the fire pit was nice, even though I didn't get to use it this time. It's only 15 minutes from downtown Galena and the Piggly Wiggly. Check out this gorgeous cabin if you're interested in Galena!

Your home was exceptional. My two suggestions would be to consolidate your pots and pans in the kitchen to leave an empty cupboard for guest's food, and invest in new firmer mattresses. I loved the hand painted decor and children's memorabilia. The decoating made me feel right at home.

Weekend stay

Stayed as a quick weekend trip. While we didn't spend much time at the home, it was comfy and inviting after a long day at the lake. Check-in was easy and the place was furnished for anything you need. The host was also very responsive to any questions I had leading up to the stay.

Perfectly acquainted cabin for a family get away. Access to the club house and marina amenities as well as the house’s pool table, hot tub, games etc. provided lots of options for kids and adults to enjoy. We enjoyed running and walking the trails as well.

Galena Log Cabin

We have stayed at this property before and this time did not disappoint. Beautiful home, wonderful location, well appointed, and clean. The property owners were swift in responding to a couple questions we had prior to our arrival. Played some golf, enjoyed the hot tub, used the owners club pool facilities, and had some fun and screaming when a bat found his way into the screened in porch one evening:). All in all - we highly recommend this property and the wonderful Galena experience.

Galena Cabin Favorite

Our stay was great. The cabin is very clean and well kept. The only issues that we had was the grill never came up to heat might need the gas burners cleaned out and the dryer in the basement took about 3 times to get clothes dry. We LOVE coming to this cabin as this is the 2nd time to rent and we our planning to rent again. Thanks for the great stay and letting us use your cabin.
