Adorable 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment with sofa neslted in the heart of historic downtown Gainesville. Walk through a quite historic park to our local farmers market. Dine Gainesville's eclectic restaurant scene, all within a 5 min walk. Receive 20% at Mode Salon and Spa located on property! We make sure to ask all guests to observe the house rules and be considerate of others.

This quirky space is surrounded by historic properties nestled in the heart of Gainesville's downtown Bed&Breakfast district!

You'll have access to not only the lively downtown dinner and nightlife scene but all guests receive 20% off at Mode Salon and Spa located on property. We even have the famous Sweet Tea restaurant for lunch located two historic doors down. Love cooking farm to table then hit the local farmers market and Citizens Co-Op for local ingredients or find the hop'n food trucks downtown for a quick bite. The FM Brewery always has a great scene with families and food trucks. If your new to the Florida heat defiantly stop by Hyppo gourmet popsicle's for a cool treat like no other. Nature seekers will be steps from the Hawthorn trails, the famous Duck Pond and Historic Thomas Center. Southern charm located in the soul food area, Reggae Shack in midtown and retail shopping is just an Uber cab away! Belong Downtown with us!

The listing contains a picture of the exterior front of an attractive yellow house. That is actually NOT the listed property. The listed property is dull white with bright green trim and is located behind the yellow house. Access and parking are difficult. In my opinion the listed property is very unattractive and not in good condition. Also, while the property may be "downtown" it is not in a nice section of downtown Gainesville. We observed many dilapidated and abandoned properties in the vicinity and many people who appeared to be homeless and or drug addicted walking around. One approached our car when we were stopped in the driveway of the property next door. There is a Salvation Army shelter of some kind about a block away where we saw 20-30 such people being given food. We felt like the property was misrepresented in the listing and we were too afraid to stay there so we left and got a hotel in the nice part of Gainesville which starts about 1/2 mile further down the road. A very bad experience to say the least.

Cute as a button!

This cozy little apartment was so inviting for me and my fur child! Perfect for one or two people for shorter stays. The apartment has all modern appliances and tea and coffee service provided!The host bent over backwards to accomodate special requests and was a pleasure to work with. Great stay a stones throw from US and the historic bed and breakfast area in Gainesville!
