Home Away From Home

We purchased this Cottage for our family enjoyment on Pine Creek and want you to enjoy it also as a Vacation Rental. Our Cottage is very comfortable for up to 6 guests and comes furnished. Where you may prepare your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven, utensils, dishes, pots and pans to cook on and more. We also provide a laundry room equipped with a washer & dryer so you do not have to worry about running out of clothes. Off the main Bedroom & Den is door leading to a covered porch with a table & 4 chairs and gas grill. Also in the back yard we have a gas grill and a picnic table raised up. Also for your after dark enjoyment a fire pit to sit by and gaze up at the beautiful night skies above. WI-Fi and streaming live tv is available for you to use. Also there is access to Pine Creek within walking distance of the cottage a state road that leads down to the Creek with a spot to put in your Canoe or Kayak and float down Pine Creek.

House is clean, very spacious. In a remote location, pretty safe, no concerns of privacy.The only fallback is the noise from the passing cars on Rte 6.

The location (close to Galeton) was ideal.The backyard fire pit and grilling station was perfect for our family gathering (surprise weekend for my sister's 60th birthday. The cottage was very clean and our family enjoyed their stay.

Nice cottage

We spent 4 nights at creek bend cottage. It was clean and roomy with all the essentials plus extras like dog bowls, dog run liine. It was an easy drive to access points to the Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro and state parks.

Our 4th of July stay in Gaines

The house is in a perfect location to many area attractions. The back yard offers a spectacular view of pine creek and the mountains in the back. We didn't get to use the fire pit but it offers a lovely area for R&R after a day of kayaking, hiking, or any touristy thing you do.I appreciated the keyless entry! We had all the normal amenities in the house. It was indeed comfortable.The drawback I found was that the water seemed to have a Sulphur odor. The notes said it was safe to drink but we chose not to.

Nice, central spot near the Grand Canyon of PA

My family had 4 adults and 2 children staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and felt very roomy. Their kitchen had all utensils/items you could possibly need. We appreciated the detailed information book with instructions for our stay as well as recommendations for things to do and nearby shops/restaurants. It was a good central location to a lot of the activities we had planned. You definitely can hear the road noise from the bedrooms at night. However, that was expected and wasn't too bothersome. Overall, a really nice place and fit our needs perfectly.

Anniversary weekend

The house was cozy, good location, plenty of room, very nice back yard, we really enjoy our stay. The only negative thing i can say is it is close to the road and you can hear it. But the speed limit though there is 35 so it wasn't bad.

Perfect for what we needed

Great little house with an amazing back yard. The owners were great and the house had everything that we needed. Great location in the middle of just about everything. We would stay here again...hopefully with clear skies this time.

Excellent experience and environment

This cottage was as described and MORE. It had everything needed. Bring food and clothes and you are set for a wonderful stay. Owner communicated during a storm to check on us. I highly recommend this cottage. Better than 5 stars for sure.

Birthday Trip

We were taking a motorcycle trip to celebrate one of our groups 80th birthday. We were so happy with the property. The house is adorable and very well kept. And the views!!! Simply gorgeous!! We were able to do day trips to visit many nearby places ending each day in this beautiful home. thank you for helping to make the trip a huge success!!

Kayak tradition

My children and now grandchildren come every year in May to kayak. This is our second stay at this property. Love the changes to the backyard! We also appreciate the ability to bring the dog. Will definitely recommend!

Nicely remodeled, lots of room

Decent place with a good bit of room. Just note that it is right up against Rte 6 so you’ll have traffic right outside the front windows. However this was expected as I knew where it was based on the description so not a complaint, just a note for other folks that may not do the same diligence.

Wonderful cottage with everything you need!

We stayed here to visit Wellsboro and see the PA Grand Canyon. This cottage was close to both areas and other state parks. We want to come back again and explore more of this beautiful area. I would definitely stay here again. It had everything you needed, which made packing so easy. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean and bigger than the pictures show online. The fire pit was an extra plus. The cottage is along the road, but it didn’t bother us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
