Guntersville Waterfront Cabin - Panoramic View - Large Dock

This two-story waterfront cabin is located on Buck Island in Guntersville. Full-width windows facing the water provide endless views and natural light. Original hardwood floors and ceilings create the perfect lake-cabin charm.

The property is on a large corner lot with 300 feet of shoreline and year-round views of the lake and town. There is a large dock perfect for relaxing, swimming, or boat access. Use of covered boat slips with lifts available for extra fee. Ample parking for multiple truck-boat trailers. There is a public boat ramp less than 5 minutes away.

Guntersville has the quintessential small-town feel with main street shopping, unique local restaurants, and endless outdoor activities on and off the lake. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood perfect for taking an afternoon walk.

1 King and 1 queen bed upstairs. 1 Queen, two twins, and a pull-out sofa downstairs. One full bath on each floor. Sleeps 3 couples plus kids comfortably. Full kitchen upstairs and partial kitchen downstairs.

Easy to access location by road, air, or water. Located 4 minutes off of US 431. 7 minutes to downtown Guntersville. 30 minutes to Huntsville, 90 minutes to Birmingham or Chattanooga, 3 hours to Atlanta. Guntersville Municipal Airport (8A1) is 5 minutes away.

Host was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked for use. Loved that there were throw blankets to use and the grill was already set up for us with paper towels, grill cleaner, etc. House sits on a quiet little road and has a large back yard on the water. Swimming was great! Loved the chairs on the dock for sitting and watching the boat traffic! Dock is in a no wake area so no big waves while swimming. Overall, this places gives grandma and grandpas cabin on the lake. It was homey and comfortable! Would definitely stay again! Only minor thing is the showers could use an upgrade or atleast a fresh coat of paint and good scrub.

Overall stay was pleasant. A portion of the open backyard has a relaxing swinging bench with great views overlooking the lake and nightlife of the small town in the evenings. Also nice to sit and lay down on the dock/pier.A few things can be improved. Outdoor grill in bad condition, had to clean up what looks like bird poop inside the grill - should be cleaned regularly or have cleaning utensils for renters to use. I love to grill and if you’re planning on grilling a lot, use aluminum foil or deep aluminum food tray like I did to cook. You definitely don’t want to cook on the dirty rusty grill grates.The property is a nice getaway from city life! Simple furnishings and sometimes that’s all you need. Property owner was very nice and communicative!Enjoy making family memories that will last! Stay unplugged and take in the beauty of nature.

Lake visit

A beautiful house on a beautiful lot.Loved the cabin feel of the place ,boathouse was awesome. We kept our boat inside during some bad weather and didn’t have to worry about any damage. Loved the decor inside. Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of needed paper products..Would definitely rent it again and again and again…Thank you Russ! Especially for your quick response to questions.

Slice of Heaven

We had the place for a weekend. It was so cozy and a perfect location! The weather ended up being bad, but the place was a stocked with board games for the family to play. We also appreciated all of the kitchen items being there for cooking. Everything we needed was there. We will definitely return to this little slice of heaven!

Relaxing Stay on the Lake

Our family enjoyed our stay on the lake. The cabin is charming and comfortable. The dock is perfect for sitting with a drink and a book. I enjoyed the swing looking out at the view. Little dog enjoyed all the smells and the sticks.I highly recommend the shower experience—tons of hot water and excellent pressure.

Weekend Getaway

We loved the cabin and the location was absolutely PERFECT. So beautiful and peaceful with plenty of room for our dogs inside and outside. Ross was very responsive and helpful before during and after our stay. Our first stay in Guntersville was a "Perfect weekend" and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful Property

This was a great property for our 2 families and our fur babies! Our pet sitter fell through at the last minute and Russ was so accommodating. The properties were so cute and charming. We did a puzzle upstairs and watched the hawks, ducks, and fish from upstairs. Would definitely rent again!
