"Could not recommend Hotel Residenz Schrannenhof enough! From literally the moment we walked in, we were treated like family and felt fully and wonderfully taken care of. They allowed us to check in early so we could nap after our long trip from the US, given recommendations on restaurants/bars and info on train tickets, and the breakfast was amazing every morning! The staff are incredible and our room was big and perfect. Plus, the hotel is literally right across the street from the train...

Breakfast has a great selection, and the Hotel is in a perfect location, and close to the center with the Underground two minutes away! "No frills business hotel very close to the VIC. Great views of the Danube and easy transit access to the historic center and the airport bus. Would definitely stay here again! It’s not cheap but the staff is great. If you’re arriving by taxi, you must go to the Melia hotel for drop off and walk over (easy) there’s no place to drive up. I ended up in a car par underneath the hotel at 10pm—not dangerous but also not fun after a long flight. "

"My family of 4 stayed here in May 26. I would recommend without hesitation. Location is excellent (near the Metro). The rooms were comfortable. My children used the gym. I used the swimming pool. The staff were helpful and very friendly. For example Ruhi a member of the team helped us plan our visit to Salzburg. The breakfast was excellent. I will certainly return if I am back in Vienna. Cons: my app didn’t work so I had to self check in-took about 15/20 mins to input all info manually. Far, it’s about 25-30 mins train into district 1…But it is directly attached to the train station so not a long commute there. Only one big towel and one hand towel. Not smart tv. No way to...
