Within easy walking distance there are plenty of cafés and restaurants, including the renowned patisserie “Confeitaria na Avenida” as well as a SPAR mini market and a gas station. Vintage Garden Apartment provides easy walking access to the whole of Funchal downtown and its many points of interest. The park Santa Catarina is a short 800 meters walking distance and the Municipal Gardens are only 1.2 km away, Funchal marina and seafront a 1.4 km walk. Palheiro Golf Course is only a 20 minute drive and the airport 30 minutes away.
Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida). Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 9 to Funchal/Hospital/Porto.
Keep driving forward until you reach a roundabout, on the roundabout please leave the first exit onto Avenida Luís de Camões. Keep driving for 500 metres and turn left into Rua Tenente Coronel Sarmento. Continue for approximately another 450m until you reach the T Junction with Rua do Jasmineiro, here turn left. On Rua do Jasimneiro drive until you reach the first T Junction, and here turn left again. Drive for another 200 metres and Beco dos Ilhéus will be on your left.Please drive with caution when approaching Beco dos Ilhéus. Make sure to take a wide turn when entering the alley, and proceed carefully as the width of the beco is much narrower compared to regular roads. This is a self check-in property and you will receive instructions on how to access the property in a separate email.
