  • Villa moderna, luminosa y espaciosa de 3 dormitorios situada en la zona residencial de Santa Maria Maior, Old Town, Funchal. Dentro de 5 minutos a pie de las tiendas y restaurantes. Vistas al mar ininterrumpidas visibles desde las grandes áreas al aire libre ubicadas en 2 niveles, ideal para ver los delfines. Un montón de espacio privado para relajarse en las tumbonas o cenar al aire libre mientras contempla los barcos de cruceros que pasan inmediatamente delante de la propiedad. Moderno interior actualizado para brindar amplias áreas abiertas y ahora la comodidad adicional del aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Amplio salón de planta abierta con vista al mar que conduce a una nueva cocina totalmente equipada y un lavadero. Los electrodomésticos incluyen una cafetera, un lavaplatos, una lavadora, una secadora, una plancha, un microondas, una nevera con congelador y un horno. El salón está equipado con TV LCD, canales por cable, blue ray DVD y Wifi. La Villa consta de 3 amplias habitaciones, todas con camas king size y con baño completo, una de ellas es una habitación húmeda. Se proporcionan tumbonas, toallas de baño y sombrillas. La decoración es moderna y cómoda, con ropa de cama de calidad, batas y toallas, todo provisto. Un pequeño refugio perfectamente ubicado a poca distancia a pie de las tiendas y restaurantes o hay una parada de autobús justo fuera de la propiedad. Cuna de viaje, trona y al baño puede ser proporcionada y también hay la opción de un solo poner la cama para su uso, ya sea en el dormitorio principal o el dormitorio 3. La propiedad se accede a través de un conjunto de medidas y por lo tanto no es adecuado para aquellos que requieren el acceso en silla de ruedas. El 3er dormitorio se encuentra en la planta baja y accesible a través de una escalera situada fuera de la sala. Ropa de cama y toallas se cambian semanalmente, sin costo adicional. We loved everything about the house. Especially the view and outdoor terrasse and furniture. Also, beds were excellent and kitchen very well equipped. Wonderful that the beautiful wild beach is just a few steps away. Very kind and helpful host and manager all through our stay. We would definitely want to book again if/when we return to Madeira.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! From the moment we booked until checkout, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The host was responsive and friendly.The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient, and it made for a perfect home base during our trip.We weren't sure what was required for checkout, as we did not find instructions, however, this hassle-free hospitality approach is a good thing. Overall, it led to a good experience from start to finish, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free vacation rental!

Super house with everything you could possibly need, and more. Ideal for 3 couples of friends visiting for week long stay in Funchal. Mirela who greeted us at the property was lovely and so helpful with any requirements we had. Good location for shops, restaurants etc.

This was our second stay at this property. Again, it was absolutely perfect. Mirela was wonderful and we will truly miss her. The location of the house is fantastic. It's so close to everything, but far enough to have some quiet. You can walk everywhere. The house is spotless and very spacious. I already miss my morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the ocean. It will continue to be our go to house whenever we return. Communication with Karen was super easy, and she always replied promptly whenever I had a question leading up to our vacation. Perfect view of city lights and great for viewing fireworks! Highly recommend this property. Absolutely perfect.

Gorgeous view and location

Karen’s place has everything you could want for a great holiday. View,location,well stocked home and parking(if you have a car). The place is incredibly well stocked and great walking distance into the city itself. It was so nice to sit on the deck in the evenings that we were home to watch the sky change with the setting sun

This is a lovely house with amazing views a few minutes walk from the action. We loved the sun terrace and balcony. Better equipped than our own house. Super clean. Sad to be leaving and hope to return!

Close to Old Town

This villa was incredible!! Super clean and so big. Three lovely bedrooms all with their own bathroom. A kitchen that was top of the line and then there is a laundry room with both a washer and dryer. Everything is modern and up to date. Outside is a very large patio with lounging chairs and table with a spectacular view of the ocean. A very short walk gets you into old town. One of the nicest vrbo places I have ever rented.

I cannot say enough great things about this rental. Our stay was fabulous from beginning to end. The house is stocked with EVERYTHING and more! It is walking distance to the old town, it has a garage for your rental car. It is beautiful inside and out. Our host met us when we arrived and were always available for any issues or questions we had. There was maid service after a week which was wonderful as well. Maderia is very special as well. A beautiful island to visit. We filled two weeks easily with hiking and site seeing.

Beautiful property

Overlooking Funchal harbour, with a short walk from the heart of the city. A beautifully appointed, spacious property, with plenty of space for 6 adults. The only shortcoming was building works to properties on either side (which the owner could do nothing about), which were very intrusive with heavy drilling and loud music every day.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Terrasse mit großer und toller Aussicht auf Hafen und Stadt. Solch eine komplette Ausstattung haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Die Taxis von und zum Flughafen waren für uns 6 auch gut organisiert. Die Beschreibung des Hauses stimmt ebenfalls. Danke für den schönen Urlaub. Das Vorhandensein einer Garage sollte auch erwähnt werden.

Absolutely fabulous!!

Everything about this rental is fantastic. It is in a great location, it's a really terrific house, very responsive, owner, and wonderful housekeeper who was really helpful. We were walking distance from everything. We rented a car and we could keep it in the garage. We used in the car for excursions. Two different hiking locations and sights around the island. We had so much fun! Best rental ever!

Holiday in Madeira

Excellent property. I could not believe the amount of ware glasses etc. It had absolutely everything. Mirela was so helpful. Great view from the property. We felt the pull up the hill but very soon found an alternate route. Would definitely recommend it to anybody who is thinking of going to Madeira. Weather was very warm when we were there so it was great to sit out in the shade.

Amazing villa in spectacular old town Funchal

This is an amazing modern Villa with spectacular views and facilities. We were met by the housekeeper who was very helpful and welcoming, with lots of local knowledge. The villa is much more spacious than it looks on the listing and is immaculately clean and well stocked. The Coffee machine such a bonus and we also enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace one evening. The location was amazing and very close to waterfront and in the old town where the best cafes and restaurants are, but also a little set back from the business and noise so was nice and quiet. Parking was easy as we had hired a car and a perfect base for trips out of the city. The villa felt spacious and luxurious and sunsets on the terrace were spectacular.

Incredible

The location of the house is perfect. Within walking distance to cable cars, shops and the farmers market. The house is fantastic, with incredible ocean views to enjoy your meals or just sit with your morning coffee or a glass of wine. We locked ourselves out one day and the homeowner returned my email within 5 minutes. Mirela was there in 10 minutes. The house has everything you need to feel like home, and is incredibly clean. Our taxi driver, Rapheal, was so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed transport with him. We will definitely stay here again when we return. Thanks Karen, your place is definitely exceptional.

My daughter, sister, and I spent a wonderful week in Madeira at Karen & Mike’s home in Funchal. Karen & Mike were responsive during booking, planning, and our stay. They reserved great taxi service - for Rafael to pick us up at airport and also do a day tour of part of island. He was friendly and energetic and shared his love of the island. Wonderful Mirela greeted us warmly upon arrival and walked us through the home and was always available to answer questions. You really have a wonderful team available to guide you in Madeira. As others have noted, the welcome of bread, butter, fruit, and wine gave us some sustenance while we got our bearings. We would have been happy to just sit all week on the terraces in very comfortable outdoor furniture overlooking the sea - it is a beautiful location! So close to restaurants and markets that we enjoyed. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen has everything. We highly recommend Karen & Mike’s home - just amazing!

Truly amazing!

This property was perfect in every way and had everything we/you could possibly need. We had a friendly welcome at the house when we arrived direct from the airport (host provided contact details of reliable driver who met us there), and there were thoughtful provisions supplied so we wouldn't go without when we got there. Our questions about the area were answered and there was a great deal of helpful information and advice available in a folder in the house. The spacious layout; closeness to the town centre; view across the Atlantic; cleanliness of the house, and range of quality equipment all deserve a special mention - and no, I haven't been paid to write this...it really is near perfect! There was plenty room for us all to relax on the patio, enjoy BBQs, eat round the table either inside or out, and relax in the comfortable lounge area. Karen and Michael obviously really care about their property and are such lovely hosts - we were delighted to have stayed there.
